I love seeing those SOLD-OUT concerts. So Sydney made more money than Melbourne with less tickets sold. Anyone recall if the tickets were more expensive or if there were a lot more VIP sold in Sydney perhaps? Hit this link, you can see a bit more detail. www.billboard.com/biz/current-boxscorethese are BASE ticket prices, does not include any upgrade or merch monies. Yes, and there was tons of merch sold and many $250 OZ VIP packages plus an average of 50+ photo opps per show for around $200US each on top of that.. taking less than 30 minutes of Adam's time each night, or about $60,000 for 6 shows just for photo opp upgrades. I have no idea about what kind of deal he had with Dainty. I think Jess, the rep, said there were 7 Dainty folks assigned to Adam and they travelled between the venues. The GA tic prices in OZ/NZ were higher than in the US...I think around $100AU. The VIPs were $250AU and the photo opp was an add'l $275AU upgrade.

Thanks, graciejane! Very helpful. YW, the ticket prices were about the same, the difference would be how many tickets could be sold at each price level. Configuration of the venue would be a good part of that as well as demand. But, the Melboune average ticket price at $35 is lower than the lowest ticket price. Not sure what is up with that as that show sold quickly, and a second show was added. I thnk the only tickets available for a while had been on the secondary market. Wonder if it is a reporting mistake.
