I am so tired of Glambert Twitter Drama and Rudeness. Certainly not representative of the fandom but there is a pack of mean, righteous Adam-protecting lionesses out there.
I am certain Adam will do something to tell them to stop but do it in his own special way.
ETA: Not this is not about the Nile tweet, it was inspired by the Sam Smith bashing event.

I am a little surprised and disappointed that Nile dragged Adam's name into the conversation and said something, to me, that is a positive/negative with the @adamalmbert I love him and some don't. Just because Nile saw the word Glambert in the twitter's name I don't think his comment was necessary since this person does not represent Adam. Adam had nothing to do with her comment. I am puzzled...maybe Nile just became super sensitive with some of the negativity being thrown on him with the Bowie Tribute? IDK. And I really do love and respect Nile very much. I just don't understand why bring Adam into it when she didn't even mention Adam in her comment...she was just talking about the Bowie Tribute. Agree with you adamrocks. This girl didn't even say she didn't like Gaga, just that she didn't like the tribute performance. IDK what Nile was thinking?! Doesent Nile always mention Adam tho? Hes obsessed lol. Seems typical to me. But whatever

From what I've seen the last few days Nile, as usual, has a pretty full plate. Grammy event Pre-Grammy party involvement Ill mother Getting ready to do his own tour God knows what else he's working on Still took time to tweet. Probably pretty much stream of consciousness... not anything to be archived and dwelt upon. (IMO) This is my happy place. If I want to angst, there are A LOT of other places to go - online or not. There are soooo many great things going on for Adam, and sooooo many great pictures to enjoy. I can't see dwelling on a phrase here or there that were not meant to harm in any way.

Add me to that pile. I mostly stay clear of Twitter related to Adam - and the back on forth around the Sam Smith and Niles stuff is a great example of why. #justbreathe go for a walk away from the keyboard preferably in the outside somewhere where there are trees. Hug one. Adam is having the time of his life. He seems happy and content and why wouldn't he be. What was it someone once said - Glamberts finding clouds in every silver lining since 2009 :-)

I really find Nile amazing. He works so hard, on so many projects, and no matter what happens pushes on -- almost always with a smile. And even for Nile, that is an amazing list!

Cracks me up every time!! I do not avoid Twitter -- particularly because I just don't follow people unless they are nice and fun. Yes, Twitter with blinders.

Yes I agree.. it's too bad that Adam's name had to be brought into this with that negative slant at the end.. I wonder why Nile did that. Tit for tat, I suspect. Celebs are just people too and instinctively we want to hit back if our feelings are hurt. And by her user name he saw where he could hurt her. Not fair on Adam but I expect he hit "enter" without thinking it through. I don't think there was any "tit for tat" or "hitting back" on Niles' part. I think he was just trying to put it in terms she would understand. From every thing I have seen, Niles has a very logical, matter of fact, say it like it is way of expressing things. He does not seem to take things said personally or get his feathers ruffled by what other people say/think or get caught up in the drama. He has faced much worse things in his life time, from discrimination to cancer, and has learned what is important in life and what is not. Frindships, including his with Adam, are far more important to him than what others think. Personally, I think far too much is being read into Niles' reply to this girl. He is not trying to be negative, he is just being real!

I have followed Nile for ages, I have never seen him tweet, IG or post to FB a single negative remark about anyone. He simply does not have a mean or vindictive bone in his body. He certainly would not use another artist to slam or try to hurt a random fan. No way, no how. Now, why might Adam been on his mind in such a manner that he would respond to a fan with an AL comment. Could be because he has been hounded by fans about AL and Bowie ever since that tweet he did asking AL to be in LA on the 14th. Could be that, as he tweeted he had just heard from AL. Could be anything EXCEPT to hurt someone.
