Were those tweets from Celebmix about attacks towards them and abuse towards SS deleted? I don't see them there at all.
And yes, they are total click bait ....and will take articles written by basically anyone willing to write something. Researched or not.

Way to go fandom. Are they trying to put the final nail in adam's career? CelebMix @celebmix 10m When one LGBT icon appreciated another. The abuse we're receiving about Sam Smith is disgusting. CelebMix Retweeted ADAM LAMBERT ADAM LAMBERT @adamlambert Oh and @samsmithworld - you look incredible! CelebMix @celebmix 9m @louisthexfactor Adam Lambert fans were attacking us for posting an article about Sam Smith being an LGBT icon. I can't see these tweets on CelebMix Twitter thread. Can you?

Isn't celebmix one of those sites like examiner.com where pretty much anyone can write an article? I saw the first few comments under the Sam Smith article yesterday and while they did all question why Sam and not Adam, they weren't horrible. I don't know what happened later or on Twitter. But it is embarrassing as a fan to see a lot of this stuff. I don't know if it hurts Adam in the long run. Every afandom has its extremes. The truth is the truth.. delusioin is not the truth.Whatever celebrix is or not, the article sure insulted Adam by not recognizing his great contribution to music and to LBGTQ charities . Celebrix gave credit for much of what Adam has done to somebody else who didn't deserve it.Kind of like rewriting history. Wow, I am surprised to find I disagree so much with this idea (not you, tho, because you are altogether too lovely). The article wasn't about Adam - it was about Sam Smith. It was a little fluffy blurb about Sam Smith, who is worthy of praise as an out pop star, like Adam is. There are far, far too few still IMO to argue about firsts and street-paving. We, of course, love Adam, but plenty of people love Sam, too (I like Sam). Adam is a lovely out-from-the-get-go-pop star, hugely talented, gracious, fine human being - but he is not Harvey Milk or anything, not the pop music equivalent of MLK fighting for gay rights, whose praises MUST be sung in every and any article about any out singer.

I took way more exception to calling SS a legend (no he is not) then leaving Adam out of the article totally. Right or wrong, The article was about Sam and his preceived influences. Heavyhanded dragging Adam into the picture was not needed. While I agree Adam, imo, played a pivotal roll in increasing public awareness, creating such a fuss and implying Adam did it all, is just as short sighted as the original article. That simply negates what all those before him did - the same thing that is being objected too now. Edit - above better said by brdgt.

Of course it is, do note though that they are routinely quoted here when they post something nice about Adam, including the followup article. So they are either worthy or they are not, it would be disingenous to accept them as news worthy here only when we agree with their message.

Thank you I think you are very lovely too.. You make good points and when I was just taking my walk ,I thought about the publisher of that free gay magazine in Miami. I went to see Adam at a Gay rights weekend, a number of years ago. The publisher was out of town when the periodical came out with Adam on the cover and all he's done for the LGBT folks. The editor was furious where were all the people who worked so hard for many years for gay rights ,why was this newbie,Adam on the cover...So yes everybody who helps the gay community should be recognized. Sam is recognized in helping by selling lots of albums , getting lots of grammys and by being loud and proud to be gay... Yes he counts and hopefully encourages other LGBTQ folks . That didn't,wouldn't bother me, what bothered me was giving Sam credit where ,IMHO,it wasn't due.BTW I am a fan of Sam, I think he is very talented, just not a legend yet. 8-)
