Adele also says emotions took their toll: "Sound check was great, it went really well. I was really excited. And then during the changeover, the microphones fell onto the piano strings which is what the guitar noise was," she told talk show host Ellen Degeneres in an interview recorded earlier this week and broadcast Thursday on The Ellen Degeneres Show. "I heard it straight away. And I wanted to turn — I knew what it was because in rehearsal on Saturday they were like 'We're going to double mic the piano just in case one doesn't work.' And I knew where the mic was and I wanted to turn around and lift it up, but I froze."
The singer told Degeneres that in the future, if she experienced sound issues during live performances, she now won't hesitate to stop and address the problem straight on.
But she was also able to poke a bit of fun at the situation. "I'm always a bit pitchy anyway. I am! It's emotion. When I'm flat and I'm sharp, I'm just emotional," she said of her performance, laughing.
"In fairness, I would have cried if it went really well as well. If it was a standout performance I would have cried as well. I always cry." She added: "It wasn't too bad. I treated myself to a burger. And a beer."

Don't want to make you jealous , but when i sat 2 seats away from him on a 90 minute flight, his hair was down and fluffy! DED! ❤️ Damn. And you are still breathing? What was the angle? I just wanna see how jealous I can get... The angle? You mean like about 3 feet away from me for just under 90 minutes? Burbank to Phoenix. It has been my favorite Adam "encounter" of the last 7 years!

So wonderful that Adam got to attend AND PERFORM at this elite party. He belongs with the legends and the best in the business. And this isn't his first time there, either. Hope he got to meet and mingle with lots of the stars there and that they get to see andhear him. Hope he gets to go back in years to come. He so damn classy.
Yes, I find myself watching for Adam in the background. He was busy connecting with a lot of people at that party!

Did you let on that you knew who he was? Was there eye contact? I briefly talked to him in the TSA line, "I don't want to blow your cover, since no one is recognizing you, but I would kill myself later if i did not tell you i think you are an amazing person and singer!" He replied with his famous, "Awwwwwww, Thank you!" On the plane, no. Just kept my sunglasses on so i could look at him freely without being tagged as a cray! (Of course, maybe keeping sunglasses on a 90 minute flight tagged me as cray anyway!)

I have 2 couples who will be going to Adam's TOH concert. One couple in their 20's and another in their 30's. They like Adam but not really fans so I thought it would be good to have them experience Adam live. It's always good to introduce him to younger fans.
Can someone point me to a link to a full video or videos of his TOH tour? I would like to send to them before the concert in LA in April so they become familiar with the songs. I find it more enjoyable if I know the songs rather than hear them for the first time. Thanks for the help.
Adam and a puppy - yes, who can resist that?

I decided to buy a ticket to the show at the Sands in Bethlehem on Sunday, February 28th. I will rent a car so my daughter can use my car to drive to work. My granddaughter works just a few blocks away so she can walk to work. I just couldn't resist seeing Adam live again and I got a good ticket for $65 dollars. The entire show there is sold out now that I bought the last ticket available from the venue. I feel good about being responsible for selling out Adam's show!!! Of course, there are resale tickets available for the show but it's still sold out as far as ticket sales money goes.
