Good sleuthing, SanDollar, re: The Marlin Hotel. Looks awesome and would explain everything. Just like when Adam was living at the Sunset-Marquis; everything was self-contained and obviously the staff are very good about maintaining guest confidentiality. He could live, work, hang out, dine well and socialize without ever leaving. He could have anyone deliver the sundries he needed. Yay for him. Re: Alisan, imo, that person was a garden-variety troll who always have to go for the jugular and say the most heinous, hurtful, BS things (Adam can't sing. Adam is ugly, blah, blah, blah). They are patently untrue, but still prey on a vulnerability, which makes them so difficult to ignore. She was sweet and gave them way more attention than they deserved, but it was still a legit smackdown. It WAS incredibly courageous of Sauli to uproot his entire life for Adam and both of them seem incredibly happy and even if Sauli was the janitor at the Helsinki Zoo, so fucking what? Adam fell in love with him. End. Of. Story. Like what? We employ hiring managers to book our love lives now? We can't be attracted to or have an emotional connection to someone that doesn't have a comparable resume? I'm sorry, but you're only a BF3 and we're looking for someone who's at least a BF5 or 6 for this position, but thank you for your application. We'll notify you if a position comes up in your experience and compensation range.So lame and it's also classist and sexist thinking (people don't usually ask this of a beautiful woman who's dating a celebrity or other powerful man ... though they might be thinking it, I guess.) It's still crap and they deserve a strenuous FU – most people don't let their bank balance dictate who they may or may not love or be friends with, thank you. ( Spring2009 – I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure if your Tumblr is tied to your Twitter account, it automatically tweets out updates. I guess she could have deleted though.) Agree with everything you said, Susie. You just have to look at the picture of them at Disneyland where Adam is looking at Sauli with all the love in his eyes to know why Sauli is with him. I have to admit that we on this board have also criticized most of Adam's friends at different times and it often is probably both unfair, and undeserved. edited out partsand there have only so much efficacy in the situation. I am rapidly learning that it just is what it is. I am sure there is quite a learning curve for all of them and they are doing their best.I am so glad nobody knows me much or really cares what I do or do not do...or WHO I do for that matter! :-)
Well said mszue. I just said in my post a few back related to Alisan She said something like..."whomever makes Adam happy". Bang on! In relation to her recent comment... it is pretty rare that we are all perfect about our decisions to respond or not respond. And I didn't just mean in posts or twitter, but in real life as well. By the way mszue...Who do you do? I mean this site wants all the news! Could not resist! See we are not all perfect! |

The difference imo is: Are you tweeting these thoughts to Adam's friends? Discussing it here on a board/forum/comm is just human fan behaviour, but calling Adam's bf a leech and tweeting (or tumblering (?)) an insulting question to one of his best friends? Creepy, cray, #noboundaries! And that's the difference. Good point! We all have different opinions about the different band members or people in Adam's life. If we chose to express those opinions, we are discussing it among ourselves. I try to stay away from crazy, OTT declarations of LOVE or HATE for people I don't know and don't stan.  I've purposely stayed far away from "stanning" or "obsessing" over Sauli. I like him, he is a cutie, seems sweet, and he seems to make Adam happy. That's all I really need to know. I don't need or care to to know every detail about his family, dog, friends, etc. I enjoy knowing details about Adam and his life. The info about every aspect of the lives of his friends, family, past bfs, current bf is a little OTT for me. Now if one of these friends or past bfs or current bf starts dissing Adam...Watch out! ;D Then, I'm giving my opinion on the situation. But, that opinion will be stated here, not sent to Adam or his friends or family members. |

I agree she is. While it is Adam that I stan, and only Adam, I did like the interactions with the band. But I am quickly losing respect for Tommy for not speaking up to this band of delusional fans. I know it won't stop it but may force them further underground. It is appalling. What I have seen of them is kind of scary. I do believe there are some serious issues there, quite unstable. Sorry...no more...back to Adam. That So Beach studio is attached to a hotel??? I think this is a little unfair to Tommy. He's caught between a rock and a hard place. He may just feel like--you can't talk logic with deluded people, so why stir the hornet's nest? Look at Obama and the birthers. With no evidence whatsoever that Obama was born anywhere but Hawaii, they're still insisting that no document he produces proves he's a U.S. citizen. The Adommy nuts are just going to insist that Tommy was forced to deny his relationship with Adam, because, you know, it makes so-o-o-o much sense for Adam and Tommy to go to great lengths to hide their love while Adam pretends to be in love with someone else. :  I think Tommy is wise to just steer clear of these idiots as much as possible. And Tommy has addressed it. Several times. But to the delusional ones, facts never get in the way of rumor and inuendos! >:( |

Really good point. To make it more difficult for Tommy, there are some Adommy fans but that is a small fraction of the Tommy fans -- and most are not deluded just having fun with it. Tommy has a lot of fans who are not interested in the Adommy stuff at all. And his Tumblr is only about 10%-15% Tommy+Adam. Just as many pics of Tommy and other band members. |

Alisan probobaly has been the brunt of the most dissing for some unknown reason. And it is happening again....honestly do not understand why but.... Monte has been dissed for trying to make a living and for his wife's unfortunate rant...which he seems to have shut down. Tommy has been dissed for not having 'enough' talent....fan service being his most noticable achievement....and now for not being diligent enough in stopping the fans that believed that fan service. What on earth does he have to do???? Longineau had little good said about him...ever...and he had a noisy gf that caused him grief too.... Both Cherry's have been consistently dissed....soon Riff is sure to get his share I suppose :-( How long is it before the dissing of Sauli starts in?? It really bothers me when we see this as for the most part, these all seem to be really decent people trying to navigate another person's fame without damaging their own lives in the process. Some have been in Adam's life and heart long before he acquired this fame. If we see this person who tweeted Adam about Sauli as wrong and nasty....what is the difference when we then say that Alisan was just looking for attention or Tommy isn't a good enough friend as he could stop all this any time he wished. If we really think that.....then should we not first and foremost, expect Adam to stop it all??? Of course not...it is not Adam's, nor Alison's nor Tommy's nor Sauli's FAULT and there have only so much efficacy in the situation. I am rapidly learning that it just is what it is. Scarlett and Lee have been consistently dissed? I adore them both and have Scarlett's album and I think I would have noticed if they were being trashed in any way. Perhaps people have questioned specific methods, but IMO, it's more as an attempt to understand and foster a discussion. How much of your child's life do you put on social media is a legitimate conversation and it is discussed in my industry constantly; it's a very nebulous thing and most people don't know where they stand on it until they really discuss and think about it. Just because someone raises the question doesn't mean they are casting any aspersions on their character. I have always had tremendous respect for Monte. Was I irritated about that one isolated incident? Yes, and I may have said so. Does it have any bearing on my overall feelings for Monte? No. I don't agree with 100 percent of everything every person in my life does, but it doesn't minimize my affection and respect for those people. I'm sure they say the same thing about me. There is a big difference between questioning someone's choices (Longineu's campaigning for gifts; Tommy saying or not saying something) and dissing the individual. Each individual incident is an opportunity for discussion. We're all just trying to figure things out in this world and how we feel about and where we stand on every issue sometimes isn't really understood until we discuss.
