Adamrocks, I met that young lady last night( glambertparty ....the picture you posted). She went to the concert with a friend, and her friend's parents were sitting right in front of us. After they met Adam at the Meet and Greet, they were so giddy! We asked them how it was, and they told us, "He's so tall, and he smells so good!" Lol. The concert was so great! My friends, who are not Glamberts, had a great time and loved the concert. That is very telling. I thought Adam sang his face off and he seemed so happy. I loved seeing him in a smaller venue. He looks like a Greek God and sings like one. I was sitting in row 21 which was about the halfway point from the stage to the exit door, and everybody around me was totally involved in what was going on, singing and clapping, dancing, etc.! It was a very diverse audience. i am also super pleased with the review from John Moser. As someone here pointed out, he is no Glambert. For him to write what he did is huge....recognizing Adam's improvement in singing style and his more sophisticated performance was accurate. It reminds me a little of the NYT review of TOH, when the reviewer said something to the effect that Adam tailored his voice to be in service to the song as opposed to Nate Reuss, who just over sang everything. There's hope for Moser yet. What at a wonderful concert experience. I have to add a DITTO to your comment. I attended my first TOHT concert with my husband who likes Adam but is not a big fan and did not GNT. He loved the concert. We had 4 other friends at the concert at my recommendation who knew very little about Adam and had never seen him live before -- they said it was one of the best concerts they ever saw. Finally, it was my first TOHT concert. I worked really hard not to learn the setlist and I have not watch any videos. I want to see the show without any preconceived notions. This was the BEST Adam Lambert concert I ever saw. He looked great, sounded better. Oh, good! I've not watched the video's or looked too closely at the set-list. My first TOH will be Nashville and I want to keep it fresh. I'm delighted to read the good reviews and getting more and more excited as the date approaches.

I did actually think they could've been a pair of tights at first! Hey, Hells Angels wear tights under their jeans in the cold months, as wearing long johns is considered pussy... Well, if I may add to the palaver about Adam's hosiery I do believe the long black socks are similar in fabric to tights/pantyhose, just the knee length variety. I'll keep schtum after this. (Did I do well, freaky?) Oh my!! Knee length stockings are called "grannystockings" in my country! Oops!! Better let adam not know that

This sooooooooooo needed to be said!!! Thankyou! To drag Adam down while discussing SS makes me sick. Adam's performance on the AMA's was brilliant except for the dodgy vocals. NOTHING to apologize for. They may both be gay but that's where the similarities end, thank God! Regarding the fur, Adam's choice, like it or not, your choice! It's his life as we've been reminded of a million times. I didn't find Adam's AMA performance "brilliant." I was horrified when he pushed the guys face into his crotch, fingered the woman and did the Tommy kiss. And then seeing the finger to the audience later just sunk my stomach to the floor. He said he cried over it and that he was so hyped up by the previous performances that he way over did it, or something to that effect. I WAS "shocked" and I was not alone. I had to find my way past that, and I'm sorry, but it wasn't easy for me. Those who found it wonderful, good for you. It wasn't brilliant for everyone and I can't pretend that it was. It turned off some who really liked Adam and some have never come back. And these were not pearl clutchers, and neither am I. I'm glad I stayed. The question of whether we liked it or didn't like it has got nothing to do with the question whether he should have apologized. I'm proud that he didn't, because the sub-text of not apologizing is, that gay people should be allowed to show sexuality on stage just like anyone else.

I don't think Adam had anything to apologize for after the AMAs except for what he apologized for -- his vocals which were not his best. I also think that the net effect of the AMAs was positive for Adam -- it generate an enormous amount of press coverage and brought him a level of fame and blew away the American Idol stigma he had -- together that changed his trajectory for the better. It was net positive because he did not apologize. The people who should apologize are 1. Dr. Luke for the awful production of FYE and leaving it in Britney Spears' key. 2. the "brain trust" at 19 Entertainment and RCA who selected FYE as Adam's first single sort of (muddied up with TFM). 3. The production design team who came up with that impossible set for Adam to more through. 4. The AMA/Dick Clark Productions who promised an outrageous/shocking performance by Adam Lambert at ever commercial break. 5. The Disney/ABC execs who overreacted. And although millions watched the AMA and more watched the video of the performance, there were only 1,500 complaints -- all from one group with a political agenda. "No one" was really "shocked" by Adam's performance or the kiss. This sooooooooooo needed to be said!!! Thankyou! To drag Adam down while discussing SS makes me sick. On.the idol tour he took it all.the way haha. Women throwing underwear and bras.at him..Adam even said ok this is what the audience now want. Not knowing most of the tv audience still remember the nice gay kid from idol. But what he did was no different to what female performers had been doing for years. Fye is a sexually suggestive song. So he acted it out. Not Adams fault some never came bk, that's their problem for judging him on a one off performance. It have Adam world wide Attention. And allowed him to step out of the idol bubble and become Adam Lambert. But thats just me. YES, 3ku1!!! I agree!

I got so excited to sign on and see four new pages. Something has happened on an off-concert day! . . . . . Nope. Just the two thousand six hundred fifty-fourth discussion of the AMA performance and aftermath.
