I feel like I've weakened as a fan...can't do the "standing by the venue for hours" thingy any more...or rather I can but I don't want to... :  I guess sanity is returning to some extend... ..but why does it make me sad ? 8-| |

I don't think that makes you any less of a fan, just like only being able to go to one show (or none, like some of us) doesn't make one any less of a fan than the people who travel to many shows! Does it make us more sane? I don't know that answer! |

I want to see Adam turn 50 while I'm still alive. I doubt sanity will ever kick in for me, but reality will. |

They may just have to add more "accessible" seating for us. And maybe he'll come to visit the retirement home we talked about years ago - all residents Adam fans.   I can envision Adam having a fabulous voice and career for many, many years/decades to come. (Think Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis). I'm not going to fret about it - just enjoy as much as possible in any way possible. And, bamafan, you've got spunk! You'll be at this for a longggg time.  |

You must be pretty fit to have withstood the NZ and Oz trip so well so keep on taking good care of yourself and no reason why you can't still be flailing at 80!  |

OMG just got back from the grocery store and saw the American Idol final Edition In People..So upset by the OLD photos they used of Adam and how they portrayed him. They put the most controversial photo , his head in another guys crotch from AMAS,full make up. One good picture full page with Brian May.. Other than that ,It's though all these years and all of Adams changes never happened.They kept him a rock star,never in pop.. I will not buy the magazine, I swear I looked for better photos and saw a couple with his group 8 folks,BTW no makeup in those. IMHO either People screwed Adam or American Idol did a number.. not sure who to blame.. I would think Idol would have to approve.. my apologies to folks who were upset with little photo on cover.. You were right to be upset.. It was worse IMHO inside the edition.I wish they had treated him like Jennifer Hudson or Clay Aiken.I'm pretty upset ..No mention of his new TOH tour..I mean somebody doesn't like Adam.It's pretty obvious. Well, it is perhaps the most memorable performance/thing he is known for, in addition to Idol. It's part of his history and I can't imagine that it is ever going away. |

I dont mind them using Amas pic tbh. Part of his history. It was a historical performance. Forced a look at double standards. He made underground music mainstream. Could use.a current pic. But hes their at all is good.
