If he was really struggling with illness or voice issues, he would have cancelled the interview to rest his voice for performance. It is entirely possible to have a sore throat one day and not the next. Right? It's happened to me! Adam knows what to do for his throat! You don't do 117 GN shows without cancelling one without knowing how to take care of one's throat! He is so experienced and so trained, somehow, throat issues just never are a worry for me! ITA -- Adam knows how to take care of his voice and how to pace himself. Also, there is a big difference between dealing with vocal strain/being on vocal rest (I think the only time that happened to Adam was during Idols Live 2009) and have some respiratory problem/congestion. That said, I am sure the audience will get a great show tonight.

I was just messaging back and forth with a friend who is there today. Adam didn't come out for sound check - not sure how often that happens

So, no Rob and no Leah on this leg. Is he changing management? Same management. Rob resigned -- he had done the job for a long time perhaps he was burned out with touring? He seem kind of tired/disengaged when I talked to him in Buffalo in Dec 2015. Not at all like he was during the Queen tour. Thanks ...for answering and satisfying my curiosity. I am sorry to hear about Rob leaving. I just liked his "look" as part of the team. Pleasant looking dude. I know nothing about his personality. And he probably had to have the patience of a saint! I appreciated him going in a different tangent than using his creative energy, in a tour situation. I assumed that the connection when Adam had him work on the GNT set up /design, led to them working on a more personal level. ( meaning, they worked well together/ lined each other. ) He started his business with his partners more for set design, lighting, touring, etc etc. That creative side may need to be engaged again. Being on a tour trail away from family.. .as an assistant...could get tiring.
