In the clips, he is wearing black clothes with a white jacket. Does that mean he will wear the same tonight? Is this a sound check or a second recording? Did I see a baseball cap as well? I don't expect bb caps on Idol. He can talk about minimizing his style, but he still bought glitter boots for TOHT. :D

Getting ready to watch, with all of you, tonight.
Trying to keep my composure and prepare a proper corned beef St. Paddy's Day meal . . . when all I want to do is scream with excitement!
Just hard to believe that the first glimpse of Adam, on AI in 2009, has culminated in this 'farewell' performance; with a new song that speaks to how the light shines on each of us; how Adam sees himself in all of us; and we see ourselves through him. He sees his place in the 'big picture', and invites the everyday 'us' into his life, through music and performance. Telling us his story. He wants us to know.
I see the 'infinity' symbol differently now. It's not a give and take thing. It's a mirrored experience. We see who we are through him. At least, I do. So it's okay to stare; and realize the togetherness we share.
I'm sure he's feeling the love. Thank you, Universe (and Q3!) for bringing this man into my life. Hallelujah!

Ohh sophie, Are other people also having problems still seeing my posts? It would be good to know so I don't waste time posting if they can't be seen.. Pi, I've always been able to see all of your posts with no problem whatsoever! (PC laptop, Google Chrome) Me too. I never had a problem. I do not believe it is device-related. It may be realated to browser setting or missing plugins or out-of - date java, or bandwidth issues.

I absolutely love Adam's voice on "Welcome to the Show." So emotional, piercing, powerful with beautiful inflection and interpretation. And I love that it's so upfront, clear, present, and strong in the mix. I like Laleh on the track, too. Their voices complement each other well. The song has such a sexy groove, a driving beat. And the chorus has set up residence in my brain. Also, the line "I'm gonna let them stare, they feel like me out there" is wonderfully evocative. I was expecting something lighter, more dancey and sonically uplifting for a release this time of the year. But the song's message is good for graduations, which take place in the spring, and school choirs (choirs of any kind). WTTS has so much licensing potential. It'd be great for award shows, sporting events, various commercials, dance shows, and other TV spots. I hope this music will reignite interest in Adam's album. If "Welcome to the Show" is successful enough maybe they'll release a new edition of The Original High to include the song, and maybe there will be a chance for another single from album. I think there are still a few possibilities left on the table, including EITN. I imagine Adam will be doing promo for RHPS---print, radio, and TV interviews, probably mostly set up or coordinated by FOX. Adam's new fall single, "Evil in the Night," would be a perfect accompaniment to this sequence of events. ; ) (In my scenario, they should save Eddie's song as a special treat for viewers of the show.) Since he'll be getting exposure anyway, he might as well ride the wave of that, and EITN could jive well thematically with the RHPS project. Obviously, I just have a hard time giving up on that song. I still feel it's a perfect fall single. I still feel deep in my bones that it would smash. So, I'm pulling for WTTS for a host of reasons. And I'm very glad that Adam will have a new single that showcases his voice so brilliantly. Excited to see Adam perform it live on Idol for the first time tonight! Also, I wanted to share a recording. When I went to the concert at the Tabernacle last week, I tried to tape audio of the show, but I think I grabbed the wrong microphones on the way out (blew a fuse in the house about an hour before I left and that threw everything into disarray). The mics couldn't handle the high noise and there was some buzz on most songs. I found one section that was salvageable and uploaded in case anyone wanted to listen. I don't see Laleh in the AI rehearsal clips - so we know if he is going to sing it alone?
