little flickers Retweeted Feral @feraltwirler Wow A remix already! >> : #WelcometotheShow - @adamlambert feat. @laleh (R3JTUN3D REMIX) youtu.be/DA0mfG51FPk via @youtube I absolutely love this!!! Now wbr, please serve this remix to CHR. It is totally a hit. I am not normally not into remixes, especially if they destroy the integrity of the underlying song, make piecemeal of it. But this, I totally love. Alright, so it does not deal with the verses, but it is beautiful, just the way it is. And we know, we will get tons of other remixes. Wbr seems to cultivate relationship with remixers, and in Adam they have somebody who has the vocal strength to hold his own against the onslaught of the rhythmic demands of todays EDM generation. At the same time, we get the beautiful original song, with its focus on vocals, on more interesting lyrics, giving us something to think about, something to feel, something to talk about. The ballad or anthem for idol loving crowds, wherever this crowd will find itself in the future culturally, and then the club banger for the rest. In my mind, wbr has struck gold, if they market this dual strategy. Very happy this morning - this is probably the first time in my life, that I want to listen to remix on repeat. But I am not sure whether this is an official remix, so not sure whether it counts for Adam rn, so probably will turn back to beefing up numbers on the normal track ...but wbr.....this is a great path forward.

I don't think it's official, having looked at the publisher's Youtube channel.

I don't care if this has already been posted! Doing it again because I love it so much! eqmusicblog.com/listen-to-welcome-to-the-show-by-adam-lambert/Welcome to the Show.’ is a rich piano driven melody with heavy percussion, which gives off a strong emotional connection. ‘Welcome to the Show’ is a track full of gratitude to each and every one of us who have purchased an album or stopped to see him Adam on tour.
I pay the price but I’m grateful, You’re letting me be myself.
Adam, we wouldn’t want anything more than for you to be yourself. The root of making beautiful art is not conforming, but standing out.

Vulture @vulture Watch @adamlambert return to #AmericanIdol one last time: vult.re/1RUjuxV Adam Lambert Returned to American Idol One Last Time Adam Lambert's valedictory return to the final season of American Idol may have been slightly less emotional than Kelly Clarkson's, but you don't bring in Adam Lambert so you can have a big ugly cry; you bring in Adam Lambert so he can blow your bloody eardrums off. On that count, he delivered: Alongside Swedish singer Laleh, Lambert performed his new single "Welcome to the Show" — ironically, the exact opposite of what he was doing — and gave the Idol audience one last encounter with his high upper range. He was wearing a black-and-white ensemble, which we like to think is a subtle reference to this classic performance.
