So this was a repeat of the ABC show??? I don't remember anyone talking about it before. I would DVR it but it's too late :( I really never watch the show but my son said it was a rerun. Adam was definitely wearing his AMA outfit so I don't know when they had him tape this for the show. Got to go make dinner! |

Here's Brooke's engagement announcement. For some reason, I had August 8th in my head, but maybe I just pulled that out of nowhere. I do remember Brooke tweeting and looking for venue recs, and I think she was looking for a winery location. So I was figuring it would be in Napa or Sonoma valley. Q3 - Yes.. I'm kinda following what UMG did with these AI10 kids.. looks like they're more conservative than Sony. They really are careful before they make big decisions. I meant they gave some of these kids a single/EP to release first before they serve them with recording contract. And now looks like they're doing an EP for them. If this is what UMG's doing, I am thinking I'm so glad that Adam is with Sony now. They're (Sony around the world) so supportive of Adam. I have always been happy Adam is with RCA -- it is a great label for him. Regarding the new Idols and albums. This is a reflection of what is happening in the whole industry. The music industry is adapting to the shift from album sales to track sales, and to the huge decline in total revenue from recorded music. New artists now are getting much lower advances, and have to have a hit single or two, or a successful EP before they get a new album. Or be a featured artist on other artists hit singles before they get a solo album. Looking more and more like the pre-1970's music business -- which was focused on singles, not albums. And were many artists did not get to do full albums -- ever. This is a very tough business -- check out last Sunday's Adam News page 1 for some info on how much the economics of this business have changed. All and all ---- Adam is very lucky! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The cost to book an artist for a private performance is often lower than what an artist would charge for a private concert. Regarding the "price list", the numbers seem dated and my guess is that it would be hard to get Adam for under $100K right now -- but if it was a corporate charity event and a charity that Adam supported it could be much lower. And I am sure that Gaga is not available for $350K - $500K+. I personally did some research for an event I was booking (over a year ago) and Adam was not available for any private events. I suppose that if I had a $1 million budget I could have gotten Adam because I have learned everything in negotiable -- and almost everyone is available if the terms are right. |

ECK!!! how big was the snake?! I would freak out & scream ! you sounded very calm, that visitor comes often then. LOL He was about 2 feet long, green and very thin. I think he was harmless but called a neighbor to dispose of him just in case. Do not like snakes. , how could you NOT like long, green, thin snakes??? That was ADAM'S snake!!!! How did it get from Rolling Stone to yer house???? IKR?? Digging deep for news here...  |
