I just posted my recap on page 1. I will probably write a second installment about the music later. I still need to sort out how I feel/what I think about the performances in Milwaukee and Chicago.

TOH in Chicago was unreal last night! To be part of a live audience that was so exuberant was so energizing and, by the end, exhausting, lol (but in a very, very good way)! You could just feel all the positive energy and love for Adam, and his voice and showmanship were otherworldly. I actually went solo (for the most part - my husband was supposed to attend with me but had a last minute work opportunity, so he hung out in line but had to bug out before the start of the show), which turned out to be a lot of fun. Every other Adam concert or event I've been to, I've dragged along a non-Adam-fan friend or my husband, who is cheerfully tolerant but doesn't really drink the kool-aid, so I'd never before really gotten the opportunity to chat it up with other fans. It was such a blast, and the people I met were warm, welcoming and lots of fun! What a great experience! It was the most amazing audience. I met so many nice people last night too. I went with my sister who is a fan so it was excellent.

No offense but vapid cunt means exactly the same thing in the Webster dictionary. It's not some urban slang term No offense taken....but what's your point? It means what is means in mainstream society as well as gay talk? Or it should be taken more seriously and not excused as gay slang? When I googled vapid cunt....Urban Dictionary was the first post listed. Didn't see Websters anywhere listed. Only when I googled cunt....it's in Websters and the word vapid is there as well. I suppose you could build a definition from that combination of words. Since you say the definitions are the same....then a vapid cunt is a vapid cunt. I wasn't making a moral judgment on saying the term....just giving a definition. so...according to several dictionaries the man spoke the truth... 8-) ...good for him :D

I love his voice on CGH. It is proof that the man doesn't have to hit stratospheric glory notes. His voice is pure chocolate. Honey butter. Pure and angelic. Like Angel Food Cake with Strawberries on top!!

It was more like an EDM crowd but with some people who were >80 mixed in and so many people who were in love with Adam.

so...according to several dictionaries the man spoke the truth... 8-) ...good for him :D I was trying to stay out of this conversation, cuz the topic of language and word meaning/choice is one that causes strong emotional reactions based on deeply ingrained conditioning that is very resistant to change. But, nica, I laughed out loud at your comment. Truer words were never spoken.

That CGH is one catchy tune! And yes, Melinda, his voice does indeed sound expensive.
