I think Terrance has deleted that piece of Snapchat.... I read on twitter people were tweeting Terrance about so that is probably why.

First time I've not liked something you've said Freaky, although I respect your right to your opinion. Drunk or not, he was being needlessly unkind to another human being for no reason, totally out of the blue. If we saw a snapchat of someone slagging off Adam in similar fashion, we'd think they were a complete dickhead. It's not about being PC and I prefer gloriously un-PC Adam myself (so we do agree on one thing) but this was a totally unnecessary, remark that should never have made Snapchat. Okay, if someone had asked him what his opinion was of KK then maybe at a pinch he could've said what he said under the guise of free speech, but not like this, for no reason. Just a small point here but we have absolutely no context for that few seconds of clip. We have no idea what led up to this or for that matter it is entirely possible that they were mugging lines from something they saw or read even. They could have been imitating someone else. There are numerous possibilities for what the whole scene was about and there is no way that any of us will ever know what is going on. For all we know it could be lyrics out of some frickin' song for God's sake. In SEVEN YEARS we have NEVER seen Adam be directly insulting to ANYONE so why does anyone jump to that conclusion. Yes...I was ticked off when I first saw the snapchat...not a favorite word to me, but my 22 yr old gal and her friends use it ALL THE TIME ! For themselves, each other , anyone. She just laughed... I also believe it's generational ... And context is a major factor .

Delurking only long enough to say that the c-word isn't that big a deal in some other countries, UK being one of those. If you read that Queen roadie memoir someone linked a while back that word was used liberally and even affectionately within the band and I imagine Adam hears it quite a bit working with Queen. It's not my favorite term by any means, not even when it's applied to a truly vapid public figure (although I would have saved it for Kanye myself), but clearly drink was taken and honestly, not the most offensive thing ever. (my vote for that would be the graffitti shorts and tube socks ensemble from the Nicki Minaj Hell Toddler Collection...so hope that outfit has been given to charity.) That is all. My problem is not the word per se but seeing my lovely Adam being so mean-spirited with no provocation. I'm still AnnAdoresAdam though! I watched the snapchat - it seems to me like they are going off on some in-joke or something or practically playing a game (like trying to get someone to guess the word "bitch" or something), I don't know. There's no context, but no one is being serious, for sure. I have no idea what they are up to, I don't feel a need to, and I love the fact that Adam lives a hugely full and free life that has lots not at all in common with mine - why would it? If he kicks puppies, though, I will be done with him.

Agree! Agree! It's just a word, isn't it? Circumstances and environment all have to be considered when criticizing something, IMO. It is a word used in Adam's community (while he was there hanging out, I might add.) Since I am not a part of that community, I don't feel I have the right to criticize his words. The gay community is not the only one that uses words others might cringe at. One used by African Americans comes to mind and some urban "ghetto" talk is cringe worthy too. Well said, Pattihum!!!!!!! I am so sick of all the righteous indignation over a word used. Gawd, we should all be as good a soul as Adam!

I really hope not. I really can't see what the problem is. He can say what he wants, people don't have to like it or agree with it... I really don't want to see Adam become so pc, always watching his words, but we've seen the start of that already, I prefer his more carefree days... First time I've not liked something you've said Freaky, although I respect your right to your opinion. Hi Ann, I'm sorry you disagree here, but we don't know the context of this, and we've known Adam for 7 years, so I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt. Snapchat - It's a couple of seconds of someone's life, it really tells us nothing about them... I still believe in Adam after this.

No offense taken....but what's your point? It means what is means in mainstream society as well as gay talk? Or it should be taken more seriously and not excused as gay slang? When I googled vapid cunt....Urban Dictionary was the first post listed. Didn't see Websters anywhere listed. Only when I googled cunt....it's in Websters and the word vapid is there as well. I suppose you could build a definition from that combination of words. Since you say the definitions are the same....then a vapid cunt is a vapid cunt. I wasn't making a moral judgment on saying the term....just giving a definition. so...according to several dictionaries the man spoke the truth... 8-) ...good for him :D Do you get a prize for that? You should do...!
