I thought it was funny last night when Adam mentioned snarkily "Republicans" as being possibly outside his realm of inclusion. It might surprise him that there are more than an occasional conservative leaning, GOP voting person within his core fandom.... lol I know quite a few... and they're really nice folks...smart, and pretty open minded, etc. I'm so glad he doesn't push politics. My Twitter feed is so littered with it now..I'm gonna scream by November. The political stuff clutters my important Adam news/pics/comments and vids. :D Well he did qualify it with "snarkily" republicans. I would bet that by this he means the ones who want to take away or prevent civil rights from the LGBT community. It is not ALL republicans, certainly not those in Adam's fan base, but does seem to be the ones in political control.

Mine is GA too, but there are rows and seats indicated. I have no idea really, I'm just happy that I will be in the presence of AFL! Any other Fillmore goers in the know?

My tickets say row 102 - so who knows - I bought early admission - no idea what the deal is

It seems ironic that some Adam fans wildly applaud Adam's speech on embracing diversity and coming together over our love of music. At the same time, they get bent out of shape about him uttering a word that is commonly used within his culture but considered offensive by some others. They get offended by a snarky, brief extemporaneous comment about republicans. Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy?
As much as we say we adore Adam and think he is perfect, I think we sometimes hold him up to standards far greater than those we expect from friends, co-workers and family members. Far greater than those we live ourselves. A few fans take a step further and actually lecture him or chastise him for making choices THEY think are unwise, unethical, or unattractive. If someone they KNEW did the same to them, they would be outraged at the hubris.
just sayin'
