ADAM LAMBERT COLLABORATES WITH STEVE AOKI AND FELIX JAEHN FOR NEW TRACK 'CAN'T GO HOME'

Pop star and EDM sensation join forces for a memorable new electronic track



Grammy-nominated pop superstar Adam Lambert has collaborated with electronic dance music sensation Steve Aoki for their new track "Can't Go Home." It was co-produced by Felix Jaehn, who is best known for his work on OMI's chart-topping single "Cheerleader." The track is available on all digital retailers via Ultra Music.

'Can't Got Home': A win-win for all involved
Aoki noted in an interview with People that the song "Can't Go Home" is a genre-crossing collaboration from two different worlds, and they were able to add "one of the best vocalists in the world," referring to Lambert, thus taking the song to a whole new level.

Lambert concurred that his recording session with Aoki was a great deal of fun, especially since the electronic music producer has "an upbeat energy." Jaehn praised his collaborators, Lambert and Aoki, for their work on this track, and described them as "experts of their craft."

Lambert collaborated with Avicii on 'Lay Me Down'
This is not the first time that Lambert is featured vocally on an electronic dance music (EDM) track. Previously, in 2013, the American Idol season 8 runner-up winner sang lead vocals on Avicii's "Lay Me Down," and both artists co-wrote that song with veteran producer Nile Rodgers. The song appeared on Avicii's True album, even though Lambert did not appear in the song's music video.

Lambert has fronted Queen over the years
In addition to his career as a solo artist, Lambert has also fronted the acclaimed rock band Queen on multiple occasions, and has toured with them extensively over the last three years, thus paying homage to the late Freddie Mercury, who happens to be one of his greatest musical influences. In their live shows, with Brian May on lead and rhythm guitar and Roger Taylor on drums and percussion, Lambert has covered such Queen classics as "Another One Bites the Dust," "Fat Bottomed Girls," "Radio Ga Ga," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "Bohemian Rhapsody," as well as their signature songs "We Will Rock You" and "We are the Champions."

So true!  I can relate to the pill analogy especially.

BTW rihannsu, thanks for that article the other day on your "other snowflake".  I'm slowly making my way through it as it's long but very interesting.  It's also fun to project and make comparisons to my "primary snowflake".
