honestly Adam needs weeks of vocal rest. I heard he was struggling thrihgh his sets.l Wiith Queen such a demanding catalogue. Adams only human. Dont want to get get to the pint hes cancelling Queen shows. Hes mad lol Not sure about "weeks of vocal rest", but Adam has been super busy traveling and performing non stop around the globe. That must take its toll. He may have caught another bug...antibiotics in response to strep throat do weaken someone's immune system. Good thing he has a day off. Thankfully, he's got a rest tonight. Hopefully, that will be enough.... ??

So sorry to hear about Adam's sickness...It must be really hard to perform when you are not feeling well and when you know that you're not able to give your usual standart performance (still sounded great though! and seemed really playful and silly)... Glad he has one day off, wish he had more time to recover... I hope peforming when you're voice is not totally ok cannot damage it but since Adam has been singing since forever and I am sure it's not first time this is happening he must know what he is doing.

The bad news: Yes, singing when your vocal cords are inflamed, swollen, or coated with mucous CAN damage your cords if you try to force the notes out, ignoring the limitations of the compromised cords. The good news: Adam is a master singer, a smart singer, and a controlled singer. He knows his voice very well. He is also a seasoned performer and knows all the tricks to sell a song visually, and with interesting phrases and alternative melody lines that do not stress his voice. When I am able to set aside my worrywort and observe him in this concert, it is very interesting to see what he is doing to make it thru without the pyrotechnics he normally employs. I just watched the videos above and he is working very delicately with his voice. He is singing lightly with no twang or sharp edge to the tone. He is staying down in his lower and mid registers, not pushing his voice to produce notes the cords cannot do with minimal effort. I think he probably had the backing vocals turned up, too. And, some phrases he dropped, just dancing or turning it over to his backing vocals and the audience. A sign that Adam is correctly limiting his voice is that we don't hear it cracking and don't see him coughing - both signs that he pushed his cords beyond their natural ability to vibrate. Of course, the very best thing to do when you have problems with your vocal cords is to shut up. Don't scream, don't sing, don't talk, don't whisper. Don't do anything that causes the cords to close and be made to vibrate by forcing your breath thru them. But, if you have to sing or talk, doing so as Adam did last night puts the least strain on the cords. From the way Adam sounded, how he sang and didn't sing, and what he said about having a frog in his throat, it appears to be a head cold or allergies. If it is allergies, perhaps moving to a different part of the country will eliminate the allergen. If it is a cold, it should be gone in a week to 10 days. If he has to sing, decongestants can reduce the mucous that coats the cords, making it easier for them to vibrate. Steroids can reduce the inflammation of the cords. Enforced total vocal rest between performances gives the cords time to rest. As long as Adam's self-preservation and experience overrides his desire to please his fans with big performances while he is under the weather, his voice should be fine soon.

I can't believe this is happening. Adam may be sick again, or at least not up to par. I live near the concert that was canceled in Clearwater, Florida. I immediately went searching for another concert I could attend and still have a great seat. One was left in Wichita, Kansas, and I plan on flying there tomorrow at 9 am. Of course, Adam's health is the most important and I pray he recovers FAST. Seriously, do not want anything to damage his voice. However, this may be one of the last times I get to see him perform live, so crossing my fingers and everything else. Also, if he cancels, I hope he does it before I get on the plane. What is there to do in Wichita besides see Adam? Haha. I may find out!

Terrance posted a short snapchat from the bus, saying they're on the road for Easter Sunday. So I guess that's why he was up early...
