Anyone here the question she's talking about? bamboo_grove @bamboo_grove1 3m3 minutes ago A’s SO AMAZING live. Even when not 100%, he still blows me away. He did repeat one question and caught himself. Poor guy. He needs a vacay. Well, it's definitely not 'Are you having fun?'... he doesn't mind repeating that one, haha

You can definitely tell that he's still holding back his voice tonight. But at least the HIGH note on TOH was better done than in Mt Pleasant. This was the hiiiigh note in Mt Pleasant at 6:10, pretty anti-climatic: youtu.be/n6gPoLbXZhA?t=6m10s

I was at Milwaulkee (theater, seated) and then Chicago (GA, most of the lower level was standing). Both were excellent experiences. For me, Chicago was better. But a few people near me in Chicago, could not stand for the full 5 hours or so (pre-6:00PM line-up to almost 11PM for the end of Adam's set) and had to go find seats in the back. I ended up taking off my high-heeled boots because I was not leaving my great center spot! I totally get that some can't stand that long & agree with the person who mentioned that a GA floor with a seated balcony is a nice set-up. I go to about 90% GA shows & 10% seated & it always feels kind of like an energy-sap at the seated shows. No matter how excited those audiences are, even if they're standing... just doesn't have the level of palpable energy of GA, for the audience AND for the artist. Tip for those who have a hard time with the situation in bold above: when the venue opens & once you get your place on the GA floor, just sit down on the floor until the opener starts. Won't save you a lot of standing-time but should save your feet about an hour or so. This is a fairly common practice in GA so no one should look at you funny. (Just don't, like, 'spread out' while you're sitting down, with your legs out... that'll piss people off if you're taking up excess floor space where ppl could stand.) Other than at an outdoor event, I've never seen people sitting down on a GA floor before the opener. And it may be easy for a young person to sit on the floor and get up again, but for many older folks that is just not practical. The knees, hips, back, etc., start to go and you can't sit without spreading your legs out. Oh, to be young again!

Only two more shows before his two-night US tour finale. Should be interesting to see if he does anything special then. Maybe some celebs will be at the show as well. And I sure hope his voice gets back in shape by then. Coincidentally I wouldn't be able to tune in to the second LA show because I'll be enlisting into basic military training the very same day. Ohwell! ETA: I was hoping to catch the season finale of The Walking Dead as well -- but I won't be able to!
