I love, love, love Down the Rabbit Hole!!! But I'll throw something out that'll get ME pelted with tomatoes...*whispers* I don't like Soaked. There. I finally confessed. :-) (hiding now.) That's OK avari. I'm pretty `meh` about the album version of Soaked, but the live version makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. No tomatos for you, at least not from here. Yes, the live version is miles better than the FYE version, but I just don't care for the song. Too much ponderous piano or something. Even though the vocals are stellar, I dislike the music or the arrangement or something. Oh well. I adore (almost) everything else!

I won't throw tomatoes : cuz we're Adamtopians and free to have different POVs - - I think it's one of the best parts of GNT!!! 'Disco Rodeo' turns me to jelly. [headslap] Gah - just take my stan card away now, will ya?!!! [whimpers] I haven't got much sleep lately. Really!!

Here's and interesting article by Brian Eno that was tweeted out by Eber. I'd really love it if Adam ever got to work with Eno and/or Daniel Lanois. Eno is a complete brainiac who really appreciates intelligent artists and I think would be fabulous with Adam. www.wired.com/wired/archive/7.01/eno.htmlThanks rihannsupf. I really like what he had to say about losing the human instinct with too much technology and the beauty of the imperfect. I can just picture Eber having 100 pieces of advice he's itching to give Adam. I remember him saying that when he would give Adam advice he was likely to do the opposite and is now trying to stealthily pass on some info he thinks Adam should know. Put me on team DTRH. Would love a full version live with an extended trippy drum solo at the end. BO and DTRH seemed very uniquely Adam, still hoping for some work with Greg Wells for some non single songs, loved the lyrics they wrote together. But just so you don't feel alone, I wasn't a fan of Aftermath, even the acoustic, lovely as the sentiment was just couldn't get into it. Did that lady not even notice Kris sitting behind Adam? I honestly think kris would prefer to have come in second than have to live with being known as the guy that beat Adam lambert. That would be tough. Loved the pictures the other day from IIHY video. One of my all time favorite looks. Fierce Tribal Adam....yes please

Since FYE was pretty much a "playlist" type of album., I don't think any tomatoes need to be thrown if someone didn't like each and every song. Sure Fire Winners is one I love to repeat, but it's probably not everyone cuppa. I like DTRH. The crazy lyrics are fun and the song has so much energy. It was also the song that helped me get my last speeding ticket.

I don't think I've seen this posted here before.

Another DTRH fan here. And GNT Soaked is to die for. My DIL was in tears at Borgata. So was I but that was to be expected. Music Again is my least liked. It was marginally better live because he was obviously having fun with it, but I just don't like the song at all.
So we're rehashing FYE and GNT out of desperation. They're both worth talking about again and again. But can you just imagine how GREAT it's gonna be to have an entire new album? And then a tour? And then.......who knows what!
Get ready!

Sorry, I'm lobbing tomatoes I mean, no one has to like every song, but you can still appreciate the daring and originality of DTRH. I love the song and think it's extremely well written. I PRAY that Adam uses his balls-out free-form expression that he played with (very courageously). That's where he's going to make his mark, but breaking from convention and turning theme, visuals and melody on its ear. After all, like Cook, he could have 80 of the same song over and over. And DTRH is so much fun performed live. I have never been able to really get into "Pick You Up," but I still marvel at what they attempted and how they pulled it off.

Sorry, you are not the first to confess that. I think I did it first and almost caused Susie Fierce to have a coronary! ;D

It's fun to discuss FYE again! My least favorite on the album is Loaded Smile. I always liked Master Plan and wish it got more attention. On the GNT album I have to skip Strut. It just doesn't sound right to me. I love GNT Sleepwalker, but was never a fan of it on the album. And I LOVE DTRH!

I know, right! It made me feel better because I still can't believe I watched Adam, the hoopla magnet, during every commercial break and never once noticed Kris! :-/
Rama, I love Master Plan too and it could be such an anthem for the younger geration! Like some of the protest songs of the 60s. I have always pictured Adam dancing to that in my head! Very sexy beat! And Readon, SFW, is always on repeat in my car. (No speeding tickets yet.) My least favorite is Loaded Smile, but interestingly, when the album first came out, it was my favorite song. It had a really fast burnout rate with me though. Now I have to skip it. The ones I usually skip are LS, Pick You Up, TFM, Aftermath (not the live version, though.) I so wish we had a WLL on the GN Live DVD and CD. That is the only thing I was disappointed in with the live version. Wish they could have made it a special feature and put it in from some other concert.
