www.rockstarweekly.com/haley-reinhart-an-american-idol-reflection.htmlHaley Reinhart - An American Idol Reflection Haley Reinhart gave the girls a fighting chance at this year's American Idol competition. The Wheeling, Illinois singer placed third in the prestigious singing competition airing on CTV in Canada (Fox in the US). After her disappointing loss, she took some time out to chat with the media about the experience and even reflected on the support she received one of the more popular past-Idol contestants, Adam Lambert. Watch out for Haley in the future. My first question for you is just kind of over the past few weeks there’s just been this giant groundswell of support for you and you’ve had a lot of big celebrities, even past Idols like Adam Lambert, on Twitter supporting you. Have you kind of been in tune to that, and what people are saying about you? Has that been kind of extra motivation? Haley: Definitely. I’m not too big on the blogs. I don’t like to look into anything that could possibly be negative but I definitely—I look at the tweets. I pretty much read everybody’s that they send me and getting that support from Adam was just amazing. Because in my opinion he’s just spectacular; he’s one of the best that ever laid foot on that stage. ....

Morning all. RL has been a killer lately and haven't even had time to lurk much. Birthday wishes to everyone who has celebrated recently and welcome to the newbies! Off to work now, but before I go... From twitter Aquarius_Girl2 Aquarius_Girl2 Hey @adamlambert You got a mention in Bruno Mars' concert review t.co/UBc8UxLThanks whatyasayI didnt know that Janelle Monae was the opening act for Bruno Mars. I like her very much. I'm a little surprised that Adam didn't say anything about her yesterday. I remember him tweeting about her and he seemed to like her a lot. Or maybe he forgot to mention her.

I got on a voting frenzy on the Fuse poll on my lunch break. With 4 windows open I managed to get the votes up from 30.40% to 32.60% and then I met my maximum vote limit. Does that mean I can never vote on that poll again? It would be a relief really, because I´m beginning to feel like a complete freak. My only consolation is that the MJ fans are even freakier. They have been changing this poll but I believe this is a daily limit. ETA: I think the reason that Janelle Monae is not getting mentioned is that she is only OK live but Bruno Mars is an amazing live performer. He is far better live than recorded IMO. Also interesting that Bruno is only doing a 14-song set and getting reviews similar to Adam -- great review with only one complaint, short set. But Bruno's tickets are more than double the cost of Adam's.

Gelly, glad you saw my post. Agree with mastermind mention by angelkrash. Does anyone know who pays for Adam's songwriting sessions? Also, what do songwriters make and who pays them? How long do they collect royalties on their work? Just curious. This site has some real genius's when it comes to hard to find info - better than Google.

This is just a guess, but I read that the record label pays for Adam's sessions. If the song writing is part of a session, the writer would be paid. However, if Adam just meets with someone on his own, no pay. The US patent office says that copyrights last for the life of the creator (author, composer, etc) plus 70 years after their death. Write a great song, and it is the gift that keeps on giving.

Too bad about the hockey riot in Canada over losing the 7th game.
