Good for those Queen fans. Was it at the smaller iHeart show they did in 2014? Because I remember watching the videos of that & getting really annoyed at some idiot's stupid blinking crown in the front. So obnoxious. As seen here: youtu.be/L6F-AkaT4TINo, she wears red blinking devil horns. Her friend has the crown but I don't know if that was her at iHeart. That blinking crown and the devil horns were at a few concerts I have been to. They were not at the Burbank iHeart Radio QAL Preview 2014. There were a few blinking crowns at the QAL 2014 US concerts on the east coast. So clever -- blinking crown and Queen. :( ** While I do not like the blinking headgear, they are both nice. Just seems to be a weird blindspot.

That blinking crown is really, really annoying. I also think it annoys Adam. He certainly completely ignores them. I was at one concert where a group of Queen fans had security make her take off the crown because it was blocking their view. (Not me BTW) Interesting. I am going to express what is probably an unpopular opinion. I think that some fan behavior at Adam concerts is inconsiderate of other concert attendees. This is one example. Fans who stand and dance while others are sitting and trying to watch behind them is another. I frequently read fans responding that a)they bought a ticket and that gives them the right to stand or do whatever else they want to at the concert, b) that standing and dancing, or wearing flashing headpieces, or standing on a seat, or whatever else is acceptable, expected, appropriate rock concert behavior, and the complaining audience member shouldn't come if they don't like it, or c) Adam likes it when the audience is standing, dancing and rowdy, so they are doing it for HIM, and the complainers aren't giving Adam the feedback he enjoys. But, what about the other people who paid an equal amount of money to see Adam perform? What about their rights? If there is a seat at a concert with an obstructed view, it is either not sold, or it is sold with the disclaimer that the ticket holder's view will be obstructed. They CHOOSE to attend with that caveat. The person who chooses to buy a seated ticket with an unobstructed view, especially if there are GA tickets also available, has a reasonable expectation that they will be able to SEE Adam without standing. I don't get why the standee's right HeWhoCannot ameds the seated person's right. Especially when there is an option to buy a GA ticket and stand/dance all they want. I have read people write that they buy a seated ticket because they cannot stand for the entire concert, so they want the option to sit WHEN THEY WANT TO. Don't other concert goers have that option, too, without having their view obstructed? What if they CANNOT stand for any amount of time? I guess if they are in a wheelchair, people wouldn't stand in front of them? Or would they? I get that some people feel that if they cannot stand and dance at an Adam concert, it impairs their overall enjoyment. So does someone who stands in front of me and forces me to stand just to see Adam, even if it is very uncomfortable for me, and even tho I bought a seat because of my limitations. Being in pain, or being unable to see Adam at all impairs my overall enjoyment of the experience more than not being able to dance, IMO. Yeah, I know the opinion is unpopular. But, I think it deserves some consideration. YMMV. Interesting. Personally, there is no concert I can imagine that would prompt me to stand up, much less dance. It's not in my nature. But I will listen very intently and enjoy immensely. At a QAL concert we stood occasionally only because people in front stood up. In general, the people in my section only stood for that reason. There weren't any dancers, but people seemed to enjoy the concert a lot. When I've been in a balcony, no one stood. I guess people enjoy pop/rock concerts in a variety of ways. Some dance, some sit, some wear crazy clothes, some drink to excess, some sing loudly and badly, some whoop and holler, some bring glow sticks, some were flashing horns. Whatever.

twitter.com/SanneGielesen/status/715752649891692544 Adam Lambert’s Glamberts Win Best Fanbase!by PopCrush Staff April 1, 2016 12:01 AM Jim Dyson, Getty Images After what was a truly nail-biting race to the finish up until the very last minute of the competition, we finally have a winner: Adam Lambert‘s Glamberts have taken the crown as this year’s official winners of our annual March Madness competition. Congratulations, you are the Best Fanbase of 2016! The road to the finish line was long and arduous for the fiercely loyal troupe: It all started with 16 capable combatants, as Lambert’s troupe took on 5 Seconds Of Summer‘s 5SOSFAM, narrowly toppling over the Aussie sensations’ fans with just over 50% of the vote. The next round was no less difficult, as Glamberts fought their way through Girls’ Generation‘s mighty Sones, taking their second victory at a little over 51% of the vote. The two wins clearly ignited a fire: Once the Glamberts matched up against Beyoncé‘s BeyHive, they crushed their competition with well over 64% of the vote. And now — here in this final round — they’ve gone and done it, taking the overall win with 51.3% of the vote against One Direction‘s Directioners. Congratulations once again, Glamberts! You’ve successfully clawed your way to the top and even stalled Lady Gaga‘s legendary year-over-year winning streak — surely no easy feat. Celebrate tonight!

I know one of them very well and she is an amazing lady and fan. I think it is a blindspot based on a huge desire to draw Adam's attention. She is not the first and won't be the last. She is aware of it now and will make her own decision about it.

Being in pain, or being unable to see Adam at all impairs my overall enjoyment of the experience more than not being able to dance, IMO. Yeah, I know the opinion is unpopular. But, I think it deserves some consideration. YMMV. JMHO -- if you want to sit, don't buy tickets in row 5 center orchestra -- buy them in the upper level. (And we all know you cannot sit for an Adam concert in front row, he will make you stand up.) People at rock, pop and EDM concerts stand if the show is good. If someone wants to sit, there are many options -- like buying a ticket in an upper level, or the front row of a level. Anyone who has been to an Adam concert know that people on the floor/orchestra stand for the entire show. They plan on it. Anyone who has been to a current pop show or any rock concert know that people on the floor/orchestra stand for the entire show. They plan on it. >> I strongly prefer Adam concerts with a GA standing floor and a sitting balcony area. That allow the people who want to sit to sit. >> If you are in the first 3 row and sitting and not in a wheelchair, Adam will tell you to stand up. I was at one casino show where the front rows were sitting because they were casino vips and not fans. Adam made them stand up. People who cannot stand can get handicap access seats which have unobstructed views and usually are great values. Any one in these sections who really cannot stand can ask security to have people blocking their view sit. I have been in front of these sections and stayed seated. There are people who can stand but don't want to and who buy orchestra front section seats. This is a different case to me -- and sometimes I think these people are wrong to ask people to sit, sometimes they are right. I was unfortunately right next to an argument about this in Milwaukee. There were two people who wanted to sit in the center of row 10. Everyone else in the orchestra was standing. Why did they want to sit? Because a woman dragged her husband to the concert, he did not want to be there, and he did not want to stand up to see the show. They were rude and I believe intoxicated. They called security and complained, security refused to make people sit down. If I was in front of these people, I would not have sat down. Particularly because this man loudly said he did not want to see the show before it started. Thankfully, my experience with issues about this is limited to two incidents in the past several years. And I attend a lot of concert by other current artists, not just Adam concerts. People stand at pop/dance concerts. And people have been standing at Queen concerts since 1971. Just the way it is.
