I was just wondering today how many tickets would be sold in Moscow. These are great numbers and the hall is big! Great news! Yay! Great news! Adam must be ecstatic to hear this.

Since no one else has chimed in, I will give you my uneducated, non-tech-savvy opinion. I'm pretty sure that openers get sound checks, too. Do they bring different sound systems? That would not be economically smart, so I would think the equipment would be the same, if not the instruments. As for personnel to man the sound system, do they have a separate crew? Again, that would seem inefficient, i.e. expensive. I think a great part of the difference in sound, tho', is Adam. His voice is very different from other pop singers. It has a resonance, a ring, a purity and richness that carries. I read a statement from a sound guy who worked with Adam. who mentioned that he had to be very careful with certain parts of Adam's range, because his voice could blow out the mic or the speakers, or the system or something. Adam also has excellent articulation of words, making it much easier to understand his lyrics than with many other singers. When I listen to other singers' performances on YT, their voices frequently sound muddied in the sound system, overpowered, or indistinct. Not just the opening acts, but the headliners. And sometimes even the headliners on a professionally done recording. this leads me to suspect that it is Adam's unique voice that is the exception, not whether an act is an opener. I've always loved this! I've watched it multiple times. It's Adam at his absolute cutest. I love his facial expressions.

With Idol ending I got to thinking how very grateful I am that I tuned in that faithful day in January 2009. I has gotten kinda bored with idol the previous couple of seasons. But having suffered from clinical depression my entire life I knew that I needed to have something to look forward to even if it was just picking out a special contestant on a reality show. So I turned in and it changed my life. I can't say I remember Adams addition because I don't...I don't really remember seeing him until Hollywood week. After that ,as many of the rest of you I was completely hooked. I started thinking that maybe just because I had a crazy parents and suffered from depression maybe it was OK to actually like myself . By the time Idol ended that season I really didn't give a darn what anybody thought about me. When the F5 tornado blew life as I knew it away I just picked up and carried on. When I worked in a tent and all the snow blew in and the roof leaked think I just thought about Adam and his beautiful spirit .Adam has inspired me but he's done so much more. He's helped me understand that we are who we are, good or bad right or wrong we're all part of the human experience. And that experience isn't meant to be simple or easy it's meant to be diverse, it's meant to let us grow as individuals, and achieve self-worth through acceptance of ourselves and others. Without Adam in my life I'd probably still be second-guessing myself probably still apologizing for everything that I did and wishing all the time that I was someone else. But because of Adam I'm happy with life ...I excepted as it comes... I deal with but I have to and there's always something to look forward to because ... simply put said I'm a glambert.

re Moscow tickets: I seriously doubt it is anywhere close to 92% sold, I'd be happy if it were at 75% and I doubt even that. I know of THREE sites that sell tickets that DO NOT OVERLAP - i.e. each site has it's own pool of tickets. Plus there might be other places that have tickets allocated to them... 1) the promoter site: 19-00.ru/lambert2) Crocus Hall site -which I counted as it is easy on this site and they have 988 tickets available atm: www.19-00.ru/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/1900-1900channel-Site/ru_RU/-/RUR/ViewStandardCatalog-Browse?TemplateName=HardCodeCategories/Category_Theaters&CatalogCategoryID=B8J_AAAC_ZAAAAFQ1Yw7GMdx3) another site: afisha.yandex.ru/events?city=moscow&tag=concert&eventId=564090c19c183f56797b5d10I do not have time to count (1) and (3) but there are several hundred tickets available on each.
ETA: I counted (1) has 617 and (3) has 738.. so, 2343 avail tickets showing on these three site atm, which is 31%, meaning 69% sold= the BEST case, because: - other outlets could be selling in addition to these three - the Dance Floor capacity is 1700, but the tickets on the 19.ru site are numbered up to 499 only for now... even assuming other sites are selling higher numbered GA tickets there still might be as much as 1000 tickets available...in that case we are at about 50% sold only... as a note: Russian fans are mostly VERY young, like young teens... I think the concert is 18+, so these teenies need an adult to be with them to get in, which might be a problem for many...
