This venue is really big, I hope they sprung for the use of the side projection screens so that the concert goers can see more than #TinySpeckAdam and flashes of light. That - I remember the last time he was there, that was a big complaint. Also, the most recent sales guesstimates we've seen have been showing it at maybe 60 percent sold, which would be a bummer. I hope that's just way out of date...

I think I thought of the perfect word for how Adam was feeling "annoyed!"

rabbitholegirl1.wordpress.com/2016/04/21/estonia-gig-review/ RABBITHOLEGIRL1 Estonia gig review APRIL 21, 2016 RABBITHOLEGIRL1 2 COMMENTS Started out with a mess. Ppl not respecting the queue system. Pushing and no security in sight. Finally when we got in somehow without no one dying we (general admission) managed to get in before the VIP ppl. What a weird system. Not complaining tho since that ment that i finally got my front row for the first time in 7 years at Adam’s solo gig. That made me very, very happy. Inside the venue the security was extremely strickt. They told us that if they see a camera they will take it away and they have the right to throw you out! Phones were ok aparently. The venue was the smallest i have ever seen. Stage was so tiny that there was no room for the background lights or the screens. I’m guessing there was maybe 1000 ppl. Audience was mainly young, ppl in their 20′-30’s. Intimate club like venue with a bar. The audience was really good singing along. Well almost everyone. HA! Adam said to some guy on the balcony that he looks bored ???? Adam was funny and happy. Smiling and singing so beautifully. I didn’t take any vids or pics, but simply enjoyed the beauty that was infront of me. I have seen thousands of pics and seen him live many times now,but no picture can compare on what he looks like close up. Pure perfection. When Adam changed his outfit ppl gasped outloud. Model. Leather pants and a jacket that looked like it was made for him. Wow. Smile. Freckles. The most gorgeous eyes in the entire world. Highnotes. Leather pants. The highlight of the gig was without a doubt the shade. Adam is such a pro of the subtle and not so subtle shade. He basically told a few “repeat offenders” off who were in the front row with their phones filming the gig. “U ladies have seen 100 gigs and u film them all. Do u even watch them? U are taking the front row away from the lockal fans” Then he rapped “Put ur phones away and hands up in the air” Guess it depends who you are that would you find what he said funny or embarrasing. I myself laughed my butt off. I didn’t laugh to make fun of anyone, but the fact that he had the balls to say so and then he rapped. Respect. The setlist was shorter than so far, but it didn’t matter. Great vocals again, front row, so much fun, shadeeeee, new outfit, close and did i mention how incredible he looked like.

It sounds to me like it wasn't the fact that they were filming from the front row. It was the fact that they had been to multiple shows , in the front row. And had been lucky enough to have the experience over and over, but instead of enjoying it and being in the moment they were filming it . Thus preventing people who might only have one chance to have this particular concert experience from being in front row.I think it goes back to that entitlement is sexy thing. Just because you can afford to go to multiple concert and be in the front row doesn't mean it makes right to always take that experience with someone else.
I have never met Adam. I think I would probably do two M&Gs if I could and that would be it. I think I would feel weird having more than that. I know people who have had more than two M&Gs and that's fine, but I couldn't do it. And for those who have had MANY M&Gs, I just think that gets a little obsessive, TBH. So many fans NEVER get the chance to meet him because the M&Gs are bought up so quickly and are very pricey. There is an unfairness about it. Having the money and the time to go to many shows doesn't mean everything.
As for the chronic cell phone users, I have to sympathize with the performers, esp. when they see those close rows that should be filled with fans who are totally engaged in the performance, not gazing through a phone screen. It has to be frustrating to sing your heart out and just see a swath of phones right up close. It does create a psychological "distance" between the performer and the audience. And when it happens time and time again, it must really get on one's nerves. Adam certainly feels that "distance" and it bothers him. And of course, he's not the only performer who has to put up with it. That being said, we ALL love the vids we get from those at the concerts. But multiple times and multiple shows by the same people? Come on.
I'm hoping the crowd in Helsinki will blow the roof off the place! Adam's Finnish fans are FIERCE! I know he'll pull out all the stops for them.

Great idea. Should we post our q's to you in a pm, and you pass them on..?? That would be great! Or you can post them in the thread. I will make sure I collect them all and forward them to Angelina. This is a woman who not only has quite a reputation as an opera singer -- including performing for the Queen of England -- but is highly sought after as a vocal coach. Scads of people offer up "information" about Adam's voice, some accurate, some pure poppycock. This lady is the real deal expert on voice, and a staunch Glambert. It is wonderful that she is willing to share her expertise with us. With a few gentle nudges. tee hee I'd like to see questions posted in the thread because they might spark ideas for other people. Question: IF Adam were ever to sing legit opera (which he won't), what changes would he need to make. I'm thinking that the typical operatic voice is more "heavy" sounding. Further, operatic high notes often sound difficult, but not Adam's. Adam's is lighter and very agile. Of course, he would have to do a lot of studying/practicing to do it. Question: Has Angelina (or anyone) heard him sing unmic'd. What was it like without all the reverb he usually adds? We've seen only a few times at radio promo performances where he sang without a mic, but we were only hearing recordings. Question: We've seen Adam "sing through a cold" successfully. How do trained singers learn to do that. If I get sick, I can't speak well and my singing voice works on low notes. I can sometimes be ok in head voice, but the passagio area doesn't work at all or croaks.
