i heard on CNN that Prince "hit" it with his SIXTH album (Purple Rain) which made him a superstar (correct me if this is wrong, as usually I know nothing about Prince or his music, aside from his name and his looks...) The reason I am bringing it up is the obvious: hope for Adam - thank god he has a multi album contract (as far as I know)... also, re the GLORIOUS hair - too bad he put that cap on, I think the "free hair" looked fabulous ...I am ready to start a "FREE ADAM"S HAIR" movement Don't know about Prince but I do know that U2 didn't hit it big until Joshua Tree which was their 5th studio album and that was in the year following Live Aid which boosted their profile in a HUGE way because of all the acts at Live Aid Queen and U2 were the most talked about. |
