Especially when it's a great song. I can't believe we lost Prince. I still haven't processed Bowie's passing. 2016 has been cruel so far.  |

THE MUSICAL GENIUS----OUR PRINCE. WHAT A LOSS --I'M CRYING WITH THE DOVES. R.I.P. SWEET PRINCE I would love to hear Adam do this song. I think it could change his career. Perfect mix of Prince, Hendrix,Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler and on and on. In my oppnion he has an opportunity to be the next super star. Here is hoping for a new cover, I totally agree with you, adamblast. I'm waiting for Adam to cover this in an upcoming concert-as a tribute to Prince. That and Purple Rain were my favorites, But actually every time I heard a Prince song, his distinguished beats were recognizable-from the first few seconds! Adam will have his place in music history-up there with the greats. It's just a matter of time. Meantime, today, my heart grieves for Prince. |

Really interesting right now on CNN to hear about Prince's successful fight to regain the rights to his music, as well as all he was doing to help Black Lives Matter and other causes, how he was an amazing musician but an amazing person also.
And he was soo seksai too - I loved his eighties styles, all the elaborate ruffles, hats,shoulder stuff, the high-heels, the hair, the make-up - so fun. Lately, he had a cool look, too - more futuristic, tunics.
