These are always the best: nicivankovic Let me say how emotional I'm after seeing Adam Lambert in front of me yesterday. He indeed is one of the greatest. Has an extremely talented voice, can do anything with it. When he is on the stage he lights up the whole room, literally. Looks at you like you're the only person in the audience and it can kill you if you're not prepared enough. His face is hypnotizing, literally perfect. He can sing, he can dance, he interacts with fans, he can smash those high notes like no one else. I'm telling you, Adam's show will bring all your emotions out and you can't do anything about it. Also not very good in German. Sometimes you ask yourself if people were there who write the review. The reviewer doesn't like Disco apparently. And according to the reviewer this is the ONLY concert where he didn't do Let's Dance since the passing of Bowie. Not informed that well then. He forgot LMD on the set list. Oh well, that site doesn't have many twitter followers. I wonder about these kind of reviews too and the reviewer's bias.. I mean, did he even mention Adam's voice? Is it better not to bring over these negative reviews? I noticed on twitter that fans retweeted this, probably not knowing what kind of review this was.. |

We probably got this before, but it might not hurt to read it again after a couple of less than stellar reviews. By the way, I think it is quite funny that most of the reviewers that didn't like it have comments on the set list (too much 'disco' or 'dance party') or the fact that there are (too much) costume changes. It seems like there isn't any fault to be found in Adam himself, or the way in which he takes the audience with him. It is more a case of clashing expectations (nope, this isn't a rock show). Gosh what a great morning... Adam is a great model.. yes superstar..
OK my morning musings about Vienna critique.. I couldn't help but laugh ,first Adam is trashed for daring to sing Freddie songs with Queen and now he is trashed for not singing Freddie songs with Queen.. How ironic.. It's that old let me put you in a box I'm familiar with.. Some critics just can't let go and accept that Adam is boxless and fluid .,He's just that GOOD& He can sing any genre.. when I read the review , I thought wow Adam must be doing something right.I thought back on the reviews of Queen when audiences savored their shows and critics were not impressed...

So I have been waiting to post this ever since Adam started to preach about boxes.
I love this. Filmed in one take by one of my other favorites (Walk off the Earth) They are so creative, make their own instruments, a great love of music, amazing skills and a pretty good message too
