I flew to Berlin with my sister to see the Adam, and now I'm back home. I couldn't find dear Betty there, and after the show I looked for the Italian place they were supposed to be in, but couldn't find it
.
I'm still trying to catch up. I saw the videos from Berlin, but couldn't find any of the LMD-Shady-Fever medley. I saw one that had only Fever. Anyone's seen a video of the whole medley?
I'm so glad I went. It was fantastic seeing Adam for real, I had the biggest silliest smile on my face during the whole concert. I was just so happy! His vocals that night were astonishing, and he was so sexy I had to remind myself to breath at certain points... But I didn't think the crowd, except for the first rows, was very lively until the last few songs, at least not according to Israeli standards. We are very rowdy over here... I guess Adam didn't think so either, because he didn't tweet anything after the show.
To my surprise I met 2 other Israeli women there, and there were others who I couldn't see, but heard them shout out that they were from Israel. I have no idea about the size of Adam's fanbase here in Israel, but if some flew to Berlin, I guess others flew to other European countries to see him.
Something very strange that I noticed and have to share, is the sound: I don't know what it is, maybe the amplifying system, that makes the sound... I don't know... muffled? I experienced the same thing at the two QAL shows I attended in London last year, so I can't blame the sound system quality. My sister felt the same.
It's as though the sound is clearer even in the amateur videos on YouTube. I asked my sister to video After Hours on my mobile phone and we were both surprised by the quality of the sound, and felt it was an improvement to the sound at the venue itself. Crazy, isn't it? Anyone else felt the same, or are we the only ones?
I just uploaded my sister's video on Youtube, my first ever upload. His vocals are divine:
