There aren't any 'front row' tickets in general admission. GA tickets are one price for everyone. I just put myself in the shoes of a young fan in a foreign country: still in school, no salary to pay for tickets to multiple shows, especially not for flights to other countries. Here is the first time in YEARS one of my favorite artists has set foot in my country. ...And then some grown women with enough money fly in from another country & take maybe my only chance to have the experience that those women are having at multiple shows. It just sucks for those people with only enough money for one show in countries Adam rarely visits. Sure, those women have the right to the front row. And I'm sure they're nice people. But nice people don't always make the most sympathetic decision (to the locals or to Adam). Yes, but that's not the way the tickets were priced for this tour (or most anyone else's tours.) VIP was a ticket price. VIP held special privileges. If people have a problem with VIP pricing, they need to take it up with the artist, not with the people who can afford to buy it. Sorry, but that is reality. And remember, Adam gets all that extra $$$$$$ of the VIP ticket that is above the pricing of the regular ticket. I think for the special seating and front row, it was about $300 a ticket. ETA: Books was posting at the same time and I missed this It's not the ticket company's, or management's, etc. issue. It's just empathy among fans.It is the management and the ticket companies that cause the VIP "problem." It is all about pricing and making more money. This subject has been discussed to death. But let me be a bit more blunt than Pattihum..... The VIP packages are not done by "management" or by the "ticket companies." They are done by Adam Lambert. The VIP packages and M&Gs made this tour possible. So if fans have an issue with his ticket pricing, they can tell him. I have no issue with it -- but I would prefer to not get all the "stuff." Also IMO it seems really unfair to criticize fans who bought tickets at the offered prices. Frankly, and I have posted this before, I prefer paying Adam a lot of money vs. having a large portion of the best tickets in brokers hands like what happened with QAL. And Adam's team really enforced the non-transferable ticket policy and boxed out the speculators which is a good thing. ETA: @books regarding front row tickets at GA concert -- yes, there are at Adam's concerts and at many other GA concerts they allocate VIP sections at the front. And while many fans, not just students, can't afford to fly to concerts -- some fans had to fly to see this tour because they had no concert near them.

This horse shit again. I am truly sorry when people are limited to one show, but it is possible that these ladies were dirt poor when they were younger and couldn't do any of the stuff they wanted to do. What they had they gave to husbands and children. Now finally, after working hard their whole lives, they are old and have some disposable income and can indulge their fantasies, and yet they are looked down on and asked to give it to a young person who is poor just like they were once. Asked again to limit their joy and accept less than what they have earned. That's kind of a cruel perspective and it has nothing to do with priveledge. I only went to one show and I did not ask or expect anyone to give up their front row position for me. But I'm old so I probably won't get a pat on the head. There is a certain irony that when the same people show up on the front row in photos, the same people complain about it. Maybe there is a lesson here for everyone in self-editting. Linda, you are talking about me. For many years I was a single mom with barely two nickels to rub together, there was no way I could travel or go to live concerts, I was lucky if I got to a movie once in a blue moon. So it is really disheartening when I've worked hard, raised my kids, and saved some money so I can afford to travel, and now I have to defend myself for spending that hard-earned money on something that brings me joy. I've bought or contributed to the purchase of tickets for fans who couldn't afford them, but I'm not giving up the space I buy for myself, I've earned it! Justkaren, you speak as I do! I am already old, and now I finally have a little money, that I may do something so incredible as to travel by plane to another country to watch the concert.

I asked this yesterday and did not get an answer, so let me try again. Adam radiates joy when he performs. I cannot help but smile when I see him reveling in his performance and the audience reaction. I do not watch pop concerts, so I do not know. Is that common for other pop stars? I watched a couple of Justin Bieber's recent performances and he seemed to be an automaton going thru the motions with no joy, no connection to the music or the audience. What about other performers? Cassie.I have seen some concerts in my life, and can tell you I have Never seen anybody shine on stage like Adam does NEVER. He is having so much fun up there and he is letting us know it.He truly is in a league of his own.

Cassie,
In response to your question about other pop concerts, I have seen many pop concerts and also find them to be automated (that's a good word for it) and also over-choreographed and stiff. I have to admit I never realized Adam could dance this well before this tour- he really gave the dance moves a try, probably thanks to Holly and Terrance's influence. I love how fluid he is on stage with the way he moves: it's impromptu and natural, again, without being too staged. It adds to his singing- it doesn't take away from it. And did I happen to mention he's sexy as hell? He doesn't have to dance to be sexy, but it's just something in the way he moves. He's really become an all-around excellent entertainer, beyond just his magnificent voice. JMHO

JMHO Hi Josey--Don't know how long you've been an Adam fan, but we have known that he has serious dance skills since American Idol. Check out this group dance routine they did. (This video is a lot better quality than others I have seen.) Are you familiar with his dancing in the Bowie medley he did on AI tour?

I've seen him dance before, but his dancing never seemed as prominent to me in his performances- and I remember him saying somewhere that he doesn't consider himself a dancer- like a Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, or even Bieber. But I'm just now really appreciating how much his dance moves add to his shows. I love it, especially his freestyle dancing in Let's Dance, my favorite of his covers.

I've never seen that performance before- and it's fantastic! Love the outfit, too. Love the song and the dancing. I'm mesmerized by everything about him. Thanks for sharing this gem.
