I imagine the review pissed off lots of Queen fans. I can understand why. The author failed to recognize what amazing musicians and performers Brian and Roger are. But, I would like to offer another perspective.
My guess is the reviewer is not a hard-core Queen fan from back in the day. For those fans, and fans of classic rock, an extended guitar solo with improv and wailing is de rigueur. As is a virtuoso drum solo. Brian and Roger are still at the top of their game with those featured solos that give them their moments to shine.
For non-Queen-afficionados, and others not familiar with rock traditions, Brian's 8 or 15 minute winding solo is..... dare I say it? Boring. And drum solos? Kinda the same. They cause a drop of energy for some members of the audience.
There is another "problem" with Adam being so compelling and masterful a frontman. The bar is set impossibly high. Why would the audience want to hear Roger or Brian sing, when Adam's voice is so much more powerful and soaring? And why would the band have their driving force of a lead singer off stage for any extended length of time? The momentum stumbles when Adam is gone.
I am not talking about Queen and classic rock fans here. Those fans LOVE seeing Brian and Roger featured playing and singing. They are authentic. They are the originals. They are the icons. They are much more than a backing band or a vehicle for Adam Lambert. They ARE rock royalty. Adam's role is to provide a lead singer who allows Brian and Roger to bring their classic songs and performances to glorious life again.
It is a balancing act to try to please all segments of a festival audience. I think they do it superbly. And, if Adam spurs Brian and Roger to "up their game", as they have claimed, Brian and Roger provide the song catalog and accomplished seasoned musicianship that let's Adam perform to his highest potential. He has grown enormously through working with them. I am ever grateful to Brian and Roger for bringing Adam on board.

Here are some comments (translated) from that review article.. ekstrabladet.dk/musik/koncert_anmeldelser/jysk-fadaese-kaos-med-queen/6102463Erik N 29 May 2016 Let's be honest ... it was Lambert who (thankfully convincing) pulled the show. Without him was Queen probably finished ... Lambert has great rock's best voice Michael G 29 May 2016 I Am very much in doubt whether old dyspeptic TT was the same concert that I and 39,999 other happy festival-goers ...? Kg simply do not understand that TT is on the payroll of EB . Ole H 29 May 2016 You are a ridiculous old fool Treo Jev 29 May 2016 Also just returned from Jelling after a bold Queen concert. Was also in the box last year which was also top notch. Throw him as Treo of h ...... for !!!! Super Zero 29 May 2016 @ Jev It was an amazing concert and 3 star is 2 too little seen with Adam's sublime performance in mind. The rest of the Queensland team seemed a bit stiff in it, but without it can take the ornament from the experience Pac 29 May 2016 Have just returned home after a blistering Queen experience. Can not recognize the experience in the article. How can one be allowed to write something so totally misleading and inaccurate claims. I fail to understand. Klaus L 29 May 2016 @thomas Treo What made this blunder Jutland? Neither drum battles or drum battles with technical problems seems to me especially Jutland. Neither Brian May's vocal. Since you never miss as much as half a chance to be critical of an artist or entertainer, I think it obligates you when it comes to your own metier. foam Little Deviants s 29 May 2016 Once again, the Treo impossible to make happy, aside from the trommebatlen and the first number, which just need to be adjusted slightly so it was a great concert. Adam Lambert was crazy good. Super Zero 29 May 2016 Is really surprised Adam Lambert, satme a worthy replacement they have taken. Ok Freddie is none ever rigtigkan replace, but now that they MUST find a replacement, then Adam certainly a good choice. Nick B 29 May 2016 @ Super Babe Check his appearances on American Idol on Youtube. He has always been good

That review is so unfair to Brian and Roger, of course is great he likes Adam that much, but I would prefer something not that biased.
