People on the stream are denying hearing anything in his voice. He's breathing so heavily now though. Normally you don't hear this. He's almost out of breath.... If.... IF his cords are swollen or coated with phlegm, he has to use more force from his breath to get them to vibrate. Hence, out of breath. |

Yup, I added to my last post that he was NOT singing flat. Just dodging the high power notes, not sustaining notes he usually does and omitting some phrases while letting the audience or the other guys sing them. This was 'Broken English' or in this case, Broken Dutch. One of my fellow Dutchies used the literal translation of vlak, meaning 'not very dynamic', 'not going for the high notes' and absolutely not 'out of tune'. He sounds fine, unless you know him. O sorry. I didn't know flat meant not in tune. As nic said I meant not singing the high notes so much. So not going high and low as much as we are used to get from him. The concert is certainly NOT BAD. And I bet most of the concert goers have no clue as I had no clue Brian was sick when we saw them in Amsterdam last year. It's just my ears are so tuned into what he normally sings I notice about every different note he sings. |

My post about Flat was as response to someone earlier, who mentioned that Adam sounded flat, i thought He didn't. Like i said, when the people who are there, where not studying all the QAL concert videos beforehand  , that there will be a good chance they still liked this Concert  , nevermind the weak voice, raspy tones, forgotten lines and no power notes.  They might not feel that entusiastic about it like the Spaniards  or Portugese  fans or get a funny RainCoordinated Show like the Austrians aND Germans  but QAL with a little less OUMPHA are still a very good Show  , right? |
