What a coincidence that in the VH1 picture, Adam's wife in just in front of him. After the mess a few weeks ago, I would have thought they would have separated the Lamberts.

oh my god i think this is a big deal. the speaker, senator saland, sounds like he's in favor, and he was one of the big undecided questionmarks. can someone who knows more about this confirm this?

they just voted--i think on an amendment having to do with religious institutions--they'll vote on the actual marriage bill now. but i think it's become clear the marriage equality act is gonna pass!!!
ETA: I assume the easy approval of the amendment paved the way for the approval of the marriage equality bill. the cheer from the gallery certainly suggested that.
And the support of senator Saland assures passage.
(this is my hazy understanding--someone please correct me if I'm wrong)
