happy birthday noangel! Brought over from flowergirl (TY!) because I have no ninja or graphic skills - - But, indeed, NoAngel, this is a great day to celebrate your birthday! Undoubtedly, it will now be a day shared with a birth of a different sort - the march towards equal rights for all has taken a leap forward. I see a comparison here - your sensitive, progressive, empathetic soul mirrors a sensitive, progressive and empathetic vote tonight. Happy Birthday! Yay!

So happy to be a part of Atop with you all and especially to be here this evening. Kisses and huge love to all. This is a beautiful win for our society at large.

Happy happy, joy joy! For those who want to read some more flailing, the comments section of Autostraddle is full of gems. Loving this post and thread from someone at the NY Senate describing the revelry: bit.ly/l2tHnP

I'd like to add my birthday wishes to NoAngel. I look forward to reading your and Q3's thoughts every Sunday. You are both so eloquent, thought provoking, funny, and the list goes on.
Great news about gay marriage in NY. I haven't really followed the debate in the US, but do any politicians there mention that Canada legalized gay marriage years ago and not much changed. The young people I know think it's no big deal and even the older people have come to accept it.

In honor of everyone on Adamtopia, I contributed $50.00 today to 1n10, www.1n10.org/ the organization that serves and empowers awesome LGBTQA youth. These are the youth that received close to 400 FYE CD's from Adam's fans (and fans also raised over $3000 (as an identified group of Adam-inspired fans) for the yearly 1n10 fundraising brunch. And, Adam now follows 1n10 :-) Every time I see one of the challenging circumstances Adamtopia members have gone through over the last months (i.e. the tornado or death of a family member), or birthday celebrations, or maybe just a lovely or feisty day at this site, I think how little I contribute to the discussion, though I read just about every word. So, in honor of all of you, and today's birthday person(s), these young people will have a bit more money for shoes or light rail tickets (many of the youth are homeless) and it will be because of you, inspired Adam fans and people extraordinaire, one and all! Love and appreciation to each of you. gracefuladam Thank you so much for this loving gesture.
