IKR??!! If I'm not mistaken Adam and Tim Curry are the biggest names in the movie. They have to put Laverne there coz she has the leading role. IMO, that's another reason (aside of his theater background and his vocal ability), Fox and producer wanted Adam as the Frank N. Furter. But they just get him anyway they can and use his name as an attraction. Can wait to see his part  Laverne Cox is quite famous from "Orange Is The New Black." It is Netflix #1 watched original series. And she is in the starring role. I think Ben Vareen may be the biggest star in this version of RHPS -- although not the biggest role. Eh who? He's the only one in the whole cast I've never heard of, haha! EDIT: I just IMDB'd him - holy shit! He was Will's father in Fresh Prince! That episode killed me! (as in cried-like-a-baby... not laughter) |
