When I was young and idealistic, I thought I'd already be living in a world where equality was a given. I grew up in a liberal area and was shocked when I ventured out into the rest of the world. I realize now I'll never live in that world. Change takes a long, long time with many setbacks along the way, but I can joyfully celebrate the small victories and never give up on my ideals. Happy Birthday, Crazylady! Attachments:

Awww guys! Thank you so very much for all the lovely birthday wishes!! I am so fortunate to have so many wonderful friends here and to have had the honor of meeting some of you in Vegas last year ( mariep - thanks for the Vegas YouTube - good times indeed!) and am looking forward to meeting many more of you during the 2012 tour. I can hardly wait!! Will be gone until late afternoon today; spending the day with the inlaws. FIL's birthday is a few days away (he's 88) and we always celebrate together. Thank you again for starting my day off perfectly!!

Ohhhh I love this smiley! Thank you Q3! Way to go NYS!! Now if PA would come out of the dark ages I could be proud of my state too. I AM kind of proud of my city - Allentown. Gay Pride Day was celebrated this week and it turns out Allentown is the 3rd friendliest city for gays in the state. The mayor quoted The Rise of the Creative Class: "Cities can't win the economic development race without a vibrant gay population." Allentown was the first in the state to add gays to its anti-discrimination law in 2002. Many gays have stated (in the Morning Call article) that they have chosen to live in the city because of its friendliness to gays. TMI? I guess so but I don't have many reasons to be proud of Allentown. This is one.

Love, love, love Eva Cassidy's version of SOTR! I'm a huge Judy G fan but I like Eva's just as much as the "original". And maybe you're gone crazylady, but Happy Birthday and

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRAZYLADY - remembering fondly your stories when we were in Las Vegas. Have a blast!
So happy and proud of NY. You ROCK! When DH and I first migrated to the US, we called Bronx our home (he went to Fordham). And our only child was born in Bronx too. I remember fondly those early years when we were so young and starting our lives together. And to this day, although we've moved several times, I am a Yankee, Knicks and Jets fan (Mets and Giants fans, please don't throw stones at me).

Have the TV on for the VH1 top 20 and Jim, the host, mentioned Adam and Ryan Tedder collaboration on Adam2. Did not catch the whole thing but Jim loves Adam. Mentions him every chance he gets. I am sure the maiden video from Adam2 will get a lot of mention and play when it comes out. Is it August yet?
Meeting up with some Atops this pm and spending the night with them. Yay, we'll have another awesome Adam immersion!
