Brian May is an old man lol?! Slow news day, some that hard up haha. I hear some say oh how is being on XF Au going to impact his Us and Uk profile. IS that all that matters? I mean it is 2016 Adam is not going to be a mass media star. As it is pop music is a young persons game. Most young peopel latch onto artists like Taylor to be inspried. Adam is at that point where he is prob to old for the game. He's not old old. But Pop is like in China they breed them young haha. Adam had a big hit with GT. Correct me if I am werong the first deep house track to make it onto US Pop Radio, went Top 20. Australia is not a major market. But it feels some fans, feel if he is not on the top of every single list their is. IF he doesent have #1 BB hits he is a failure. OH going on a XFactor show as judge, means he failed. Which is odd. Iggy going on means she is a failure? IF I Was a casual, be like Hmm The Fact he is a judge must mean he has cred to do so. Go type him on Google he is fronting Queen Like a Glitterly Alien on Stilts, he was a big star on Glee, he is going to be on RHPS, His current single GT has 132 mill streams on Spotify .I would think hmm he has done pretty well since idol. I Think we live in a day in age, where people can filter what they listin to and watch. IT is 2016, XF is a fun little guy that well give him huge publicity and exposure. That could lead to other oppurtunities. Like Simon apparently is bringing Xfactor to the States. So you never know the stars could align their. Idk about anything else but regarding Iggy, she is really trying to make comeback. She's battling an extremely negative rep. She'll also be trying to pull focus all season as well. So get used to that. They'll be looking to her to deliver the drama |

Just a comment on a couple of points: I posted about how music performance in the AU music market is a good predictor of US success. That was not to diminish AU but to recognize that American and British musicians are very influential in Australia but it is a two-way street. English language pop music is now pretty much global -- but the English language dominated markets are most certainly interconnected. X-Factor will not return to the US. Simon already brought XFactor to the US -- and it only last 3 seasons here -- and was a commercial failure. I doubt it will come back because no one would sponsor it. Simon is now on America's Got Talent. I don't believe that being current has anything to do with age. It has to do with authenticity, talent and attitude. JMHO Adam is more current right now than Iggy is -- at least in North America and Europe. Her 2015 tour was cancelled. Her sophomore album, "Digital Distortion" was schedule for release in early 2016 but is now on the shelf getting dusty. She is supposed to be working on a new, more commercially viable single, but is likely going to be dropped by her label unless she finds a new genre. She has no credibility as a rap artist and no legit urban radio station will play her music. And that is just the beginning of her issues. Iggy Azalea has had a bad couple of years professionally and personally -- but it will take a lot more than an X Factor stint to rebuild her career as a musician. But hard to undo offending almost every race, ethnic group, and interest group and then say, "just kidding." Perhaps her association with Adam will help her repair her image with the LGBT community somewhat.
