Morning everyone! I'm in Dallas so mostly lurking until I get home tomorrow afternoon (I have a computer in my bedroom; sweet!). Anyway, I drove to Dallas and as I was getting near city center, off to the right, there was a large water tower type structure I saw and printed on it was "Adams Hats." I almost wrecked the car! Then we ate lunch at In/Out Burgers and they were sooo good. Don't they have those in LA?? thought I remembered someone talking about them. Anyway, having a great time with my college roommate and 2 of her daughters and their families. good times!! (need new Adam news though!) We do have In and Out in L.A. Your post makes me smile because that is the first place my boys want to go whenever they've been away from L.A for a while, at school or on tour... My boys want to go there or Don Jose's! ;D

I never went to the American Idol tour concert. Aw, regrets. I was tempted to see him in Quebec, but NYU tuition and a new air-conditioner is coming between me and my Adam destination vacation this summer, LOL. If he were only performing a little bit closer to home! That concertos not too far away now. I need some new Adam performances in mynlife, even if they can only be seen by video. I crave hearing his voice and seeing him in performance mode. That combination makes my endorphins explode. Adam is my happy place, so thanks for posting all the old vids and helping me to start my day off with a smile! Off to work... Not sure why I said I'd teach a two-week writing lab this summer! Oh, I am SO glad that I made a last minute decision to go to the 2009 AI tour concert in Philly!!!! I almost didn't go, had no intention of seeing an AI concert EVER, but kept reading recaps and realized that Adam's 20 minutes onstage would be worth sitting through the rest of it. (Actually didn't REALLY sit through the rest of it...spent most of that time in the bar... :-[ ;D) (yeah, I feel slightly bad about that...) Anyway...such a good decision! I ADORED his performance. Almost didn't see how he could top that, but of course with Glam Nation he totally did. I'm very tempted to go to Quebec, but of course I'm a lot closer than you are and would drive. I had to replace MY air conditioner this month, that's actually the main thing that's holding up my decision... :( ETA: concerts I regret missing: Gridlock, Fantasy Springs, and especially...RMT 4Msrmyn -- adding my thanks for all you do

You rock, 4Msrmyn!! Gotta run and go hold my goddaughter's new baby girl. I just love holding her even if she's just sleeping in my lap. So precious.

ANother side note, WE had a local celebrity - Ryan Dunn from Jackass and MTV here died a week ago. I knew Ryan personally as he was friends with my boys and visited my house numerous times. He really was a sweet guy but unfortnately, he made a mistake - driving and drinking.
Well there is a guard rail at the accident scene and many people are stopping and leaving msgs at the scene. Guess was there to protest against the celebrity???????????
THe WESTBORO BAPTIST CHURCH and haveheaded up to New York to protest same sex unions. I had passed this site twice and did not see them otherwise I would have stopped to give them a piece of mind. Do they have no conscious? crazy

My hometown show.... WASHINGTON DC !!!!!!Lost my GNT cherry to Baltimore the day before (where I met the wonderful rjacks and schufly) Missed katzmadam tho'! :-[ I was the girl with the long hair, the PF bracelets and the lollipops falling out of my pockets!! ETA: What happened to my ETA? ETA2: And can't forget the meeting of the awesome sandyva, supardu, and her charming husband! Sorry I didn't meet suz526 tho. Her mother had just passed, and I was the person who wound up selling her tickets for the Baltimore and DC shows. That said, suz's tickets went to VERY happy homes! I remember the Mom, Dad, and dejected ~16 year old family all begging for tickets, and suz's was the last one that made up the trio. The girl was literally jumping up and down and beaming.

Saw Cook on the Today show this am while waiting at the Doctor's office. I feel so badly for him. Just WGWG and he sounded just like Daughtery as he sang. He lacks presence when performing. He is an intelligent and nice guy, but he just blends in too much - there are no standout features or behaviors or a voice. Also he is a review from Huff Post Ouch for Cook: t.co/8V7bwTR31 minutes ago via Twitter for Android Favorite Retweet Reply
