I wanted to say good night but mariep your post got me.
You're absolutely right. Even I, who know nothing about PR, learn day by day how to tweet a link with a small explanation so if someone is interested should open the link.
This hit me like she is sitting lazy on her couch, retweeting the tweet and that's it. If she is supposed to be the PR for the UK again, this is not the way to do it, especially when we're talking about news concerning MTV. I've never said anything about her, but now I'm worried. :-/
I'm going to continue to try not to be negative and give her the benefit of the doubt. I may even start to follow her on twitter. If she's getting paid for every minute she spends promoting I certainly hope she puts more effort into it. Like Susie said, let's hope things go better this time around.
It's all about to start happening so I'll be watching.
I would not read to much into that RT. She is not "officially" on his rollout yet, so therefore would not be in her normal promotions mode. It think it's a teaser, like the RT of his London pic and the non-mention of his name when talking about hearing his new stuff (which I totally believe was him).
These are meant to make people wonder and build intrigue. His official promotion won't start until the single launch. It's a good thing, IMO.
I would love to see Adam on Jimmy Kimmel. JK really seemed to like him during the Idol season and I need to see if I can find the YouTube of that Adam vs. Clay sketch where they had audience members stand in for A and C. And when Adam's photo was up on the screen Kimmel said, "That's a good-looking guy." Or something like that.
He did go to the mat for Adam after the AMA crap too.
