If I remember correctly, Adam didn't actually work with Rivers Cuomo. I think I remember some pretty nice remarks from him about Adam though. Does anyone else remember that? I think PUU maybe was just too hard to do live and maybe it wasn't one of Adam's favorite songs. Not sure it would have fit in the Glam Nation live set list. Just like, IMO, Broken Open didn't fit either. Using BO and Soaked would not have been a good idea. That's my memory of this also I also remember...I think...that it was a late addition. If that is the case, perhaps it also replaced something Adam preferred...not that he would ever actually 'admit' that [loyalty to tptb; bus. sense, etc]. ???

I'm sorry I'm gonna whine more about the PR person from the UK. Please tell me I'm wrong again. I have to go now but I'll come back in a couple of hours. She just tweeted this. "sound like, I quote: "Freddie Mercury committing arson with Lady GaGa and Muse" You know that this is written under the photo on the RCA page of Adam. www.rcamusicgroup.com/artists/adam-lambertWhy the hell didn't she say what is it about? Is it about Bette Midler? Is it about Bruno Mars? Is this the way you tweet something to get someone's attention? NO, NO, NO, NO. Why should anyone (besides the hard core fans ) should know what she is talking about? And I bet even the hard core fans may not remember that this is written under Adam's photo. ETA AND WITH NO LINK IN HER TWEET! I'm sorry I just had to get it out of my chest. Gotta go now. Awww, Gelly! I really think this is part of her "building anticipation" strategy. Remember all those commercial campaigns (I think Apple used it with iPod) where they have a full campaign but never reveal the product until the official launch? By that time, people are dying to know what they're talking about. I think she is most definitely teasing details to get people curious. She knows how to link to stories and certainly knows his name, so my thought is it's definitely deliberate. The campaign won't begin for quite some time, so she's dropping hints. She has followers who are Britney, Usher and Shakira stans AND industry people, especially centered in the UK. The fact that she's talking about him already is very encouraging, IMO. You know I was never ever worried about anything concerning Adam #2. Thank you for proving me wrong. I trust you and what you're saying makes sense. You are the expert, not me. This is why I love this place.

I have to say, whether you like FYE or not, I never really understood why it was never part of the live portion of GlamNation from the beginning??? I was a bit puzzled about that for a while. When I watched the GNL DVD it gelled for me. When I saw the whole show together like that (instead of individual songs on YT, and when I was not totally entranced at a live performance) it hit me very strongly that this was not a music concert, but, rather, a staged show. It resembles musical theater in many ways. There are even some "musicals" that are revues rather than a traditional story/play with music added. Musicals almost always have an overture. An instrumental piece right before the curtain opens and the show begins. The overture sets the mood or tone for the performance to come. I think that was the purpose of FYE playing before Adam's entrance. In that light, it works very well, telling the audience to get ready, Adam is here to entertain us..... and he certainly does.

Can someone share a live tv online link? I had one bookmarked that worked well, but lost it when my computer crashed. (Won't know how many other things I lost until I need them!)
Am hoping to watch Sasha on Fox tonight...
Thanks!

I know that Rivers Cuomo said some nice things about AFL, but I have no recollection of Adam ever saying anything about him other than occasionally listing him as one of the people he got songs from (and he often skipped him when listing Gaga, Bellamy, Pink, etc). The comments I was remembering from Cuomo, were not specifically about Adam - I just remember there being a couple of things I saw/heard after FYE came out that struck me as pretty biggoted and made me wonder how well he hid it when they worked together. As I said, I don't have any sources and the only reason I would have paid any attention to the guy at all is because he was involved in the 1 song on FYE. This is total speculation, so if you are a Cuomo fan please don't be upset I've just wondered for a long time why he hasn't EVER sung PUU (not just GNT - there were 1-offs like FS and the Canadian shows). Even Loaded Smile has been performed and it has to be more difficult to translate to a live version than PUU!
