I can kind of answer this since I was at this launch for Johnny Weir. There was no mention by MAC executives of Adam at this event, and they have not mentioned him since January 2010 meeting. So I would say there is no plans to do anything with Adam. On a side note here is a brief clip of the opening of the show with Johnny Weir plugging his new Glitter and Ice line. Sadly for Johnny he fell off the stage while skating, but was a trooper and hopped right back up unharmed. You can see him take a dive at the :30 mark.

A few days ago, at a dinner party, one of the guests who is supposedly connected with MAC said they are considering Adam for a campaign/line but are waiting to see if Adam "sticks around and grows." This is entirely second hand info from a person that I don't know well, so I have no idea about the legitimacy of the information, and it could be her own personal take on things.
To me, it seems he is already pretty well known for his make-up.
I'll be so glad to hear interviewers ask him some different questions for Adam 2. You don't think he will still get the same old recycled favorite make-up, who would be your dream collaboration, Madonna/gaga/queen questions again, do you?

How is it possible that the whole time the MAC rumor has been going on, I have somehow thought it being Mac as Apple computers, iPhones and iPods. ??? *embarrased* Anyway. These kind of deals are tricky, because the idea is basically that people are expected to be attracted to the endorsement persons because they want to either f**k them or be them. So what would be the best for Adam, and what would be the best for the brand owner? It should be something hip and unisex; jeans, mobile phones, sunglasses or the like. Personally I think that Adam should be the next campaign face for Luis Vuitton 8-)

Assuming this info is correct it makes sense. Why base a campaign or whatever on someone that could--theoretically--be a flash in the pan. I don't think that will happen mind you, but I see their reasoning if this is accurate.

I have no desire for Adam to be involved with a make-up line. Maybe I felt differently last year, but now, as he moves toward a more (edgy) mainstream look (still love the eyeliner and over the top stuff for nights out) I think it would be so much more appropriate and beneficial to represent a designer, Skingraft or something more worldwide if offered, or as someone mentioned, a classy car model or company. His image is morphing into something that will serve him well as he moves into his 30's. He's so smart.

I think sunglasses would be perfect, as long as we get a few photos of those eyes peaking out from behind the glasses.

Happy Birthday scotia, glamtealady, adamaniacdrv I am obsessed with the "Reflection" photo - my wallpaper now! So so gorgeous! Greg Wells - YES!! I've been on the PUU bandwagon since the release of the album. I asked Adam about it at my M&G and he said "they" were discussing performing it sometime during the tour. Didn't happen sad to say. I'm going out on a limb here to say I THINK the drought is dwindling and a flood is on the horizon!

I have a vague memory of Rivers Cuomo making some pretty crappy homophobic sounding comments (not directly about AFL, but more than once publicly). Could the lack of love for PUU be that Adam just didn't like working with him and doesn't feel good karma from the experience? This is just something I seem to remember, I have no sources at all about anything Cuomo may have said.
I love PUU and would love to hear it live just once :(
