If I remember correctly, Adam didn't actually work with Rivers Cuomo. I think I remember some pretty nice remarks from him about Adam though. Does anyone else remember that? I think PUU maybe was just too hard to do live and maybe it wasn't one of Adam's favorite songs. Not sure it would have fit in the Glam Nation live set list. Just like, IMO, Broken Open didn't fit either. Using BO and Soaked would not have been a good idea.

I cannot say how happy I am to hear that Greg Wells, Evan Bogart and Adam are in studio again. And, although I am less excited about the inevitable return of Max Martin from a creative standpoint, there is almost no chance RCA will release this album without Max tracks. And I think it is a good bet that Max Martin produces the lead single. Just speculation on my part, but given writing credits on some of there recent big hit songs, I would imagine that any of the Bonnie Mckee studio sessions with Adam, will possibly include writing credits by Dr. Luke and/or Max Martin. She is part of there team, and they can contribute there skills from afar. Also, I believe I remember Adam saying that he will have writing credits on "Most" of the tracks on his new album. So Max could have songs on the album without writing directly with Adam-hence WWFM and IIHY.

I liked it on the CD and was absolutely mesmerized by the Fantasy Springs and the Unplugged versions. I must have watched lamobessed's improved BO a bajillion times and to this day, it never fails to bring tears to my eyes. The tender strength portrayed in the song and that we know is the real Adam touches my very soul. With all that being said, when I saw him perform BO at Mystic Lake, it did not flow well with the other songs. However, when he added it back into the set later in the tour, he tweaked the presentation/placement of it so that IMO it fit well. The Hawaii concerts are good examples. I may have to run off and hide, but adding FYE into the set for the European dates seemed to break the flow of the opening numbers. I thought that the flow from Voodoo to DTRH was flawless and adding FYE did not flow as naturally. However, don't get me wrong, I loved having another song in the set!

But FYE was a single, in almost every country. IMO, it should have been in the set from the beginning. I loved when it was added.

I have to say, whether you like FYE or not, I never really understood why it was never part of the live portion of GlamNation from the beginning???

A few days ago, at a dinner party, one of the guests who is supposedly connected with MAC said they are considering Adam for a campaign/line but are waiting to see if Adam "sticks around and grows." This is entirely second hand info from a person that I don't know well, so I have no idea about the legitimacy of the information, and it could be her own personal take on things. To me, it seems he is already pretty well known for his make-up. I'll be so glad to hear interviewers ask him some different questions for Adam 2. You don't think he will still get the same old recycled favorite make-up, who would be your dream collaboration, Madonna/gaga/queen questions again, do you? Assuming this info is correct it makes sense. Why base a campaign or whatever on someone that could--theoretically--be a flash in the pan. I don't think that will happen mind you, but I see their reasoning if this is accurate. As opposed to the powerhouse that is Johnny Weir??? : : Sorry, I have respect for the guy, but he doesn't do a thing for me as far as attraction goes on any level, really. And there won't be a Winter Olympics coming up for another two years, so it's not likely he's going to have some sudden surge in popularity. (I do get the winter/holiday correlation though.) As a comparison, a quick Google search yields these results: Adam Lambert: 34,100,000 Johnny Weir: 1,010,000. Yeah, I can see why they opted for Weir ... Not saying Adam SHOULD do MAC, but I think that "see if he sticks around" rationalization is pretty weak.

It certainly needed to be there for all the places where it performed so well. I just didn't particularly like where it was. While the theme certainly fit the seduction part of the concert, I guess I just loved the way VooDoo and DHRH flowed so easily and didn't want to see that changed. If it had been in the set from the beginning at that point, I wouldn't know the difference would I!

Pjd, This article was posted by csharpminor earlier in the thread, but here is an exerpt. I remember him having only praise for Adam. www.google.com/gwt/x?oe=UTF-8&client=safari&q=rivers+cuomo+Adam+lambert+NPR&hl=en&ei=6VQLTuD9H5D0NeuKWw&source=m&u=http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1625387/weezers-rivers-cuomo-calls-adam-lamberts-voice-amazing.jhtmlCuomo said "Pick U Up" draws from a fantastically eclectic combination of sounds. "It sounds like a combination of ABBA, with beautiful pop melodies, and a disco beat like you'd hear in a Donna Summer song," he said. "But then there is this heavy guitar feel to it, like from [German techno-metal band] Rammstein or something. It's just a wonderful hybrid of all the music I love." Cuomo clearly enjoyed his time with Lambert and was phenomenally impressed with his instrument. "He has the most amazing voice. It's exactly the kind of voice I convince myself I have on my best day, but of course I'm nowhere near that amazing," he said.

Cuomo is saying that Adam not only changed the lyrics but the melody as well. And yes you're right, he said very nice things about Adam. www.mtv.com/news/articles/1625387/weezers-rivers-cuomo-calls-adam-lamberts-voice-amazing.jhtml
