Needacoke I had forgotten yet another great WLL @ Norfolk. You did a great job with the vid !  I nominate you to be our official ATop vid taker for Tour # 2 !!! ( I guess that means front row balcony for you, while I'm down front being wavy arm/grabby hand lady... hehe) 4Msrmyn  I want to join the chorus of Atopers thanking you so much for all your hard work and time invested gathering and posting all the concert info. I can't wait till my first GNT concert anniversary, July 6th in Knoxville, where I met you and your son (wish we had had longer to visit). Looking forward to seeing you again during Tour #2 !!! TO HELL WITH THE VIDEOS. I'm standing at the stage with you. I'll just send a zillion close up twitpics like I did at the Ryman.  Move over cause I'm gonna be right beside you two! Besides it may take both of us to keep Bama from crawling on the stage! ;D |

I don't think anyone's mentioned it, but do you think these new pics are a deliberate attempt to portray, "Serious artist?" YES. Absolutely. I thought of this as well. Serious artist, as well as "organic" and "raw" (black and white photos!) which were words he used to describe his second album I think it's all part of a strategy. |

 Thank you tantun. It's just that clothes and jewelry and accessories are my thing, I love weird stuff and I wear weird stuff all my life, and Adam's fashion sense excites me :D I love that you love Adam´s fashion!  In the pictures you found, the earring is in the left ear. And in the great new picture it is the right ear. In right ear Adam used to have that thing that makes the "hole" (or what ever it is called...) bigger. Or am I totally wrong? ??? Adam has gauges in both ears. |

That photo almost makes me weep. Young Adam-- with his enormous talent, his purity, his clear-eyed courage and his boundless hope. He wants so much out of life. We are watching him attain it. Not only that, we are helping him do it....and your post almost makes me weep, Aloha. - so beautifully said. We are all so blessed to see Adam realize his dreams - and to have a part, albeit it very small, in helping him! |

I just wanted to share what happened to me today. I had to go get blood drawn and as I'm sitting in the chair waiting to get my arm pricked : I say to the nurse, "Oh! Is that Jackie Wilson I'm hearing on the radio? She replies, "No, Marvin Gaye". Then we started talking about liking the old classic rock and Motown music. Well...of course, I directed the conversation to AFL and how much I love him and she says, "Oh! I LOVE Adam Lambert! He should have won AI." We keep talking about Adam as she's drawing blood, and I let her know about the 2ND album he's working on, and ended our visit by giving her the acoustic Live CD and a CD I made of Adam songs Pre-Idol, Idol, and GNT I just happened to have in my purse. ;D Told her about the DVD/CD of GNT LIVE (wish I would have had an extra one with me to give her) and told her she should definitely get it. I left mentioning to look for a single out maybe sometime late August or early Sept. and the new album to be out in November. I love to bump into Adam fans like that...made my day! 8-) |

After seeing the pics gelly just posted, I really like this black and white, black leather, serious, realness type of vibe Adam is getting out for the #2 album. Awwww, noooo, whadaya peeple doin to me?? I LAHVE the Boy George party look (the weird stripey shirt from his club-kid days is one of my favorites EVAH) and the Japan fuck-you-i'm-in-feathers look and the Mad Mardi Gras look. I love his supposed "new look" too, he looks handsome as hell in leather and black and plain Ts, but I love a combination of all these sides best. I'm sure he does too--there's a good healthy dose of McQueeny crazy in his AI10 finale look, I'm happy to note. And I can't see these "serious" studio pics as a rejection, however indulgent and good-natured, of the playfulness of the "FYE era." After all, even for the campy FYE, I'm completely confident that Adam took his studio time, and the craft of music making, seriously. And judging by the tweets coming out of the sessions this time around (filet-she-o-of-fish, anyone? Turtle-sex?) there's plenty of goofing around still going on. As people wisely pointed out yesterday, there's a reason Adam loves Ke$ha. ETA: Totally different topic, but taking advantage of Gelly's recent post, what the hell does SMH stand for??!!! I've been trying to figure it out forever cause I keep seeing it here and as a twitter hashtag, etc, and its driving me crazy! My only guess is "so much hate" but that doesn't really seem to fit most of the time. |
