My only consolation is that she is the new Paris Hilton. Pretty rich girl, no discernible talent, reality show, fragrance, tried a singing career, etc etc...and you don't hear anything about Paris anymore. The media eats these kinda people up and then spits them out for the next one that comes along. So in a few years people will say "Kim Kardashian who?" What I don't get is why people eat it up. Say what you want about Gaga or Katy Perry or Kesha or even all those auto tuned male rapper guys...at least they have a talent and work at it instead of having enormous fame for no reason at all. MIDWIFS--I am pretty sure it's so much hate. I see it on ONTD all the time and they are the epitome of hating on everything, lol, so unless I am told different that's what I assume it is. The reason IMO is what SusieFierce said human nature + trainwreck = irresistible. I've always known SMH to mean Shaking My Head as well. The funny thing is with these reality shows is that all you see is them being covered on every entertainment network and on the cover of every grocery-store-impulse-rack magazine and I have never known ANYONE who seriously watched the shows. Okay, peripherally, maybe, when you're flipping around on a Sunday afternoon, but to actually "follow" the characters and know what people are talking about when they reference an episode? I don't know anyone – except for people on talk shows or radio who have to watch them so they can comment. Which brings us back again to why?? Even on Twitter, I don't know anyone who says, "OMG! Did you catch that episode of 'Jersey Shore' last night?" Never. Of course, I know, it's not the type of stuff you usually want to reveal in polite society (lol), but still ... And I DO think a lot of their audience is the trainwreck crowd who watch it to laugh at the people and think, "Man, I'm glad I'm not THAT effed up ..." |

Adamrocks: I'm sure you also made HER day!!! Aww Thanks, Evergreen. She was very businesslike when I sat down and then we both lit up and had such great smilies on our faces as we talked abour Adam! He does seem to give his fans a special 'connection' with each other.

I always say that I cannot always identify pre idol pics. I have this picture but I don't like his looks at all, that's why I never posted it. My guess from the people in this picture is that it's from the "Hair" era.   |
