Red Panda -- I love your morning musings. And yes, I think Adam has an amazing work ethic. I think he does strive for perfection, never "phones it in" and I hope he's not beating himself up for messing up the lyrics! I had to laugh at your line, "Often I see more of a "that's good enough" approach to things. Like the dearth of customer service." One of my pet peeves is the "no problem" or "no worries" response after I have thanked a salesperson! I was thinking of the recent interview with Brian where he said that if Freddie's voice was a bit rough he'd just play around with the melodies or let the band carry more but that Adam wouldn't do that and everything had to be up to par. I'm thinking a bit of that may now be a carry over from the nervousness he must have felt at the first stint. How could he do that with songs that are ingrained by years of recorded listening? He can't be as good as Freddie, he has to be better. And better on every single song or he'd get panned as not worthy. (and to make clear, my good & better analogies are in reference to note hitting, power, ie all the techniques and not who's "the best". I love watching and hearing Adam but I've also gained a powerful attraction to Freddie over these shared years also.) Freddie was marvelously creative and Adam is marvelously interpretive. Save

I think QAL should do a HBO special. I Think they could do a US tour again, in small venues. Where they would get payed more. I agree can't see them going to South East or West in States unless, a festival Maybe they do the Iheart Radio FEstival again next year? Who knows.

I agree can't see them going to South East or West in States unless, a festival Maybe they do the Iheart Radio FEstival again next year? Who knows. They would not get paid more to play small venues and Queen is best big. (Well I would like to see them in a small venue. ) IF they come back to the US, QAL can play big arenas in LA, Chicago, NY, Boston, Philly, DC, Dallas, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, etc. etc. I think they could probably do well in Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Columbus, OH and Indianapolis. Probably 25+ cities. They just could not play the mid-sized markets in parts of the country. And they can charge a lot here. >>> I just don't expect we will get another tour. They could headline a big festival here -- which they have not done. I just can't see Q+AL at any of the big US music festivals -- Bonnaroo, Coachella, Lollapolooza, and so on. I guess they could do some "smaller" festivals like Summerfest -- but can't see them coming back to the US for that. QAL just does not see like the right programming for the big designation festivals. >>> Adam as a solo artist is a better fit for the US festivals. Brian and Roger will be filling in a big career gap soon -- performing in China. Whatever they do next, I expect it will be something they have not done yet or since the 1980's. **** I want them to do something big -- like play for the Queen or the World Cup final or something Queen-worthy.

It's more than a reflection pool tho. It will actually be usable. Not just something to look at Maybe useable, but not swimable...maybe sitable ...lol. I just mentioned reflecting pool because that's what the designer/builder called it in the description. I just don't understand the point of a pool you can't swim in.....???

Yes, that's Adam's water feature/reflection pool. Wonder what he means by "bonkers" project. This is very labor intensive....gonna cost a fortune....lol....but should be gorgeous. We're not in the land of dimmers anymore! Haha, things have definitely moved on since those days.....
