Man, I'm thinking I'd better upgrade my number ninja skills soon to get ready for Adam #2!

Here's a weird one --- iTunes singles --- 768. Whataya Want from Me – Adam Lambert; #439 on Amazon MP3. --not in top 1000 -- TLG - David Cook -- and this song is in the top 29 on HAC and on VH1 Large Rotation. (It is #1869 on Amazon MP3.) This song is not doing anything -- I sure hope RCA has a better strategy for Adam. NOTE: I know Cook has nothing to do with Adam and I have posted that opinion many times BUT I cannot remember a song from an established artist with radio and VH1 support not being in the Top 1000 on iTunes before. I thought I just missed it on iTunes. Makes me really sad to see this. Interesting that WWFM is going up when there is no promo or even info happening!

From RCAEd Here are some quick U.S. sales updates for you guys - sorry if I'm rounding out the numbers but I'm dealing with a silly political situation, as relates to freely sharing detailed numbers with consumers. Rather than giving you guys nothing, this is the compromise I've been able to reach for now with the powers that be (don't ask!). FYE: 820k GNL: 37k AL!: 28k Total FYE tracks sold: 3.3MMETA: Doesn't seem to be much change from last month. Hoppers can update though. Gah. Have been waiting for more numbers before dealing with the update. Its easy to update the spreadsheet. A pain to upload the results! Usually when things are kinda static, it feels better to have a least a few more data points before dealing with the graph pics. [grin] Should probably break down and purchase the same software I have at work so I can do it at home without re-figuring size ratios. Would alleviate the time guilt factor! ;D

BTW - Do I have the ONLY radio station in the country which plays David Cook's TLG so much I'm getting utterly sick of it?
Seriously, its on every single time I flip to 94.7 [sigh - pretty sure its unmonitored, tho'] :(
