Concerning Adam's 2nd album, I don't have really high expectations..at least I don't think. Hope that he'll be able to do at least 500k-700k, or 700-1mil in album sales, and spawn 2 hit songs between the success of IIHY and WWFM, meaning Top 15-20 on CHR hit (not really knowing about billboard), and 1mil in sales of each hit song. And maybe open between 50-100k in album sales. Hope none of that sounds to ambitious. I know it all depends on the material, but that's at least my hope for him. If Adam achieves this in the US it will be a big win. I think all is realistic -- but I think the opening week will be >100K. That said it is impossible to forecast sales without hearing the music and seeing the opening price points. Even with info, forecasting this fickle market is hard -- really hard. For example, why is Gaga selling better in the UK vs. the US relative to the market size? Promo in the US was much bigger but this is were trends and taste come into play. She appears to be topped out in the US but still growing her fanbase in the UK. ETA: This magic spell may be working!!! I guess album sales is really not good this year. Adam only get to BB #3 and he sold 198K. Cook got to be #7 for selling 46K I don't think Cook & Scotty would reached top 10 if they released the album in November, but then again they maybe able to sell more than those number if they release it in November. I'd be happy if Adam could sell half to equal to his debut album. Am I realistic enough?

OT/
Travis Wall was the runner up for SYTYCD Season 2. For few years he became one of the choreographer of the SYTYCD.. and look where he sits now.. he's sitting on the judging panel. Sooo... maybe if AI would still be on the air in couple of years... Adam would sit as one of the judge ... even for only one season?

I'd be happy if Adam could sell half to equal to his debut album. Am I realistic enough? Fall 2011 album sales will be about 70% of Fall 2009. So if he sales 140K in week one TBD Adam #2 that is about the same as he did week one for FYE. I think it is too early to guess numbers but if Adam sales <100K on week one in the US, it will because there is no hit single and/or the album in not appealing to Adam fans. I am waiting until I hear something. Right now all we have is one line of lyrics, no genre info, no song titles, no album title, we have 0.0000000001% of what we need to forecast anything. ETA: Adam will not have time to be an Idol judge in 3 years. At least that is my forecast!!
