Happy Birthday Q3. And a big thank you for this site and your expertise. You keep us informed and in the middle of the road.
Over the years we have learned so much, and some goes beyond Adam. With Adam and your giving this forum the structure, we have been around the world many times. I think Adamtopia represents and expresses the differences, but also brings us together for our similarities and love of all aspects of "Adam".
The best to you and we will be here for the surprises in the future.

I have been wondering lately if Adam my look into buying his own place in London... he does spend a decent amount of time there after all. |

I have been wondering lately if Adam my look into buying his own place in London... he does spend a decent amount of time there after all. Yes I did too, but with the uncertainty of the Brexit situation I think his financial advisors are telling him to wait. The financial situation of London is uncertain and I don't think anyone can predict what is going to happen in the next two years. |

On the other hand, if the value of the pound is dropping now would be the time to buy while the exchange rate is in his favor. That's sort of what helped Florida out during the real estate crash was having Europeans coming over and buying vacation homes and investment property while the exchange rate was good for them. As bad as the real estate market was we had an advantage in that this was already a desirable market for internationals and that helped take up some of the slack. |
