ETA2: refrained from posting 10 minute album version of Dylan's "It's a Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall." Your welcome. [grins] There's an excellent four minute version of "It's A Hard Rain Gonna Fall" by Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians. Was off the soundtrack from The Fourth of July. Not a big fan of Tom Cruise, but the film was well done, and I had that song on repeat for a long time. Can access YouTube right now, but if anyone could find it, I'd be really happy! :D

Oh I bought Pink Funhouse Album recently, (better late then never) it's a really good album, have like half the album on constant repeat. But I what i want to ask is, I really like the song Funhouse, wondering if this is a definition of a funk song that also sounds current. Marie, P!NK is my other musical obsession. If you like Funhouse, go back and buy all her CDs. They are all incredible! (This is how I know that FYE, the album, will go platinum, probably by end of next year. Because when people hear album#2, they will have to have album FYE also.) P!NK has 4 albums out. Funhouse has been in my car CD player for 2 years now and it's not coming out anytime soon. There isn't a single song on it that I ever skip! And, LIVE, she is unfuckinbelievable! Oh and interesting fact, even with her 4 incredible albums, this last tour in the US, was her first arena tour here! She's been way bigger internationally than here. It kind of breaks my heart everytime I see her not win the awards she is nominated for or not even get nominated. IMO, one of the most under rated Pop divas. I would love to see Adam follow the musical trail of P!NK. He is way more P!NK than Gaga! ETA: If you do Twitter, follow her. She is a kick! Never afraid to speak her mind! Yeah I'm a big Pink fan, (well didnt' care for her first album, that I think was a bit urban) but her other albums after, with songs, Don't Let Me Get Me, Just Like a Pill, Dear Mr. President, etc, just love her,

I've never heard of Gordon Lightfoot before today HSM- BB I love you, but you worry me. Or maybe I should worry that I"m showing my age. I could sing for you if you want. Something about a sinking freighter on Lake Superior...

I also love the songs of Gordon Lightfoot -- great melodies and lyrics. I was never a big music buyer and I have three of his albums from way back when. I am always amazed at the collective music enthusiasm on this forum. Music was always just a peripheral thing in my life until Adam came along. I can't tell if I'm besotted with him or have just imprinted on him. Anyhow, I sure am enjoying the bus ride with all of you!! I would hate to have to choose a seatmate!!!

OT I'm a big, (well a little bigger then casual) fan of Ryan Tedder/One Republic, since Apologize. Liked him from Apologize days, cause I'm a big fan of strings in songs, and it's very prominent in their songs. Ryan actually seemed as if he can sing good live, known for having a very high falsetto (well pre-Adam everyone sounded better) but now I'm hearing him and his voice sounds very strained, live and in the Studio. Funny how the idols are supposed to be known for singing better then the current pop singers, but think he did better then David Archuleta in Idol finale. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWuolOafq5Y
