For our international members, the Great Lakes are seven huge, interconnected lakes in the midwest US and bordering on Canada. They contain 21% of the world's surface fresh water, and are more like inland seas than the ponds you might think of. I'm woefully bad at keeping up with news since I started in this fandom, but I really missed something big here. Did we steal a couple of extra lakes from the Canadians when they were busy stanning Adam? ;D

I've never heard of Gordon Lightfoot before today You're too young, Grasshopper. Very famous in U.S. because of this song. I've never been able to figure out why, when I'm so into rock, this song fascinates me. Somehow it is an aberration amongst the G 'n R, Motley, Warrant, Areosmith memories.

mszue, you forgot Neil Young....you are so right sugaree...actually I remembered then forgot as I remembered others!! old age kicking in....again....
That's ok gelly....Lightfoot isn't my style either...though I did have and play, a lot, one of his much earlier albums from the late '60s.....he as HUGE then...
btw...the way that radio ad sounded, I immediately thought Gaga and Madonna....

Hi everybody!! The rain songs are working. It is raining on the Outer Banks(not a good thing for tourism but a good thing for forst fires) I got my cw picture yesterday. I was in yhe 2nd e mail. I also sent an email to lane about 2 months ago. Don't give up hope
