IMO, the only reason Sasha was not in the bottom three was Adam Lambert's fans. Sorry, but it was not due to the routine they had to dance last night. Still, I am glad that "we" saved her from that dreadful choreography.
In the big picture, I think this bodes very well for Adam #2. Fans who would passionately vote for Sasha because they know her thru Adam will also buy #2 the minute it is available. They will click on articles about the album in droves, giving the media every reason to tout the album and the accompanying PR venture. They will watch any TV appearances about the album with enough volume to pump up the viewer numbers for that show.
Call me a cock-eyed optimist, but I believe that #2 will be better than FYE in every way. In content, in vocals, in critical reception, in media attention, in artistic merit and cred, and in sales. That's my story, and I am sticking to it.

If the two young princes are a big fans of Adam.. remember when William & Harry organized a concert to honor Princes Diana? I'm hoping they would do it again sometimes in the future and invite Adam to perform... yes.. i'm a dreamer :-[ :-[ |

4M's, thank you for all you do. Knoxville and Nashville GNTs were very memorable. Knoxville is where I met you and many others who I now count among my very good friends. This last year has been absolutely magic and your tireless efforts in documenting every single concert bring that magic back over and over. The fandom owes you a ton of gratitude big time. Next time we meet (and I am sure we will), dinner will be on me!

Maybe, since Adam and his fans raised so much money for Donorschoose, Adam will be there to greet the couple because of the difference he's made for these programs. And yes....I'm a dreamer too! |

One thing - - - I love, love FYE - - - the vocals, the content, the way it makes me dance with joy, and then twist in the angst in my heart. I feel like FYE made me born again, and I will, for the rest of my life, think of its music as defining an era in my life - much like Rubber Soul and the Doors did for me a long time ago. |

Adam fans are definitely Sasha's advantage in this. Think about it: all the dancers undoubtedly have a following from fans of SYTYCD. Sasha has those fans, plus Adam fans. I for one never watched the show until this year, and I'm watching because Sasha is on (although I am enjoying it beyond just seeing her--all the dancers are wonderful). It's likely that none of the other dancers have a group of fans unrelated to SYTYCD providing a boost for them.
