Someone asked last night or tonight about the power of Adam. Those of us who are following Sasha and SYTYCD, know the power of Adam and his fans and those he supports. No dance off tonight - She is SAFE!!! I truly believe that the Adam fandom made that happen. JMO, but I'm sticking to it! Shhhhh don't tell anyone, but there was a little part of me that was hoping that she would be in the bottom 3 so that she could get rid of the dead weight of a partner. I really like Sasha and think that she is a wonderful, wonderful dancer, but she hasn't been given an opportunity to stretch her wings on the show. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she makes it to the top 10 so that she can get strong partners and better choreography. She just needs to make it one more week, a d then she will be paired with different partners.

I love this - it's one of my favorites!!!! ;D ;D ;D Actually, I don't have a grudge against this guy. He sought out Adam before AI because he recognized that he had amazing talent (through MySpace, IIRC) and they did a "two struggling musicians getting together" collab session. He's always been very complimentary of Adam and he also suspended release of this very indie (very OTT electronica, with no discernible hook, IMO) song. He's within his rights to release it. I seems like he's held onto it for a couple of years. However, I don't think there is any real danger of people not knowing it's a pre-Idol experiment and seems like there is little danger of radio release since there is no label behind it. There is nothing of Adam's voice, soul or emotion in that song and to me it's just repetitive noise. I may try to listen again thinking of it as a "remix," but those have to be really well done for me to get into. Aftermath and the Brad Walsh FYE are two I listen to with any regularity. SusieFierce, I agree. And I feel like I remember that after AI, Adam had an agreement with the guy stating he had to wait a certain amount of time after FYE was out to release the track. Does anyone else remember anything like that? Maybe I just made that up. 8-) 8-)

Q3 if you're here, what do you think about this guy dropping Live The Life on to iTunes now? Does not matter at all and only Adam fans will notice it. Adam did not try to stop this song and J Scott G waited until Adam had released and fully established FYE before he released this track. I do not believe Adam has a co-write credit and is listed as a "featured artist" indicating that he was paid as a session vocalist. ETA: Just to clarify, J Scott G said that he and Adam worked on the lyrics together, I just have never seen a co-write credit for Adam.

J Scott G did tweet and posted information about his conversations with Adam. So we only have one side of this story. Here is a good summary of what J Scott G has said when the release was delayed. www.mr-l.org/tag/j-scott-g/
