This is sort of related to Adam because Rachel Platten opened for him on his last solo tour. And because we often discuss Adam singing the National Anthem at a major sporting event. Inexplicably, Major League Baseball has picked the following singers to sing the national anthem for the first two World Series games in Cleveland: Game 1: Rachel Platten Game 2: Country duo LoCash (I had to Google them) Neither have any connection to Cleveland or to Ohio for that matter. No way either can be considered major stars. MLB has also disappointed many people by not allowing Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn (Charlie Sheen) from the film "Major League" to throw out the first pitch. [For non-baseball movie aficionados, the movie portrays a fictional version of the Cleveland Indians who put together an unlikely team of misfits and minor leaguers who actually win.] Thankfully, we have a great team who is gonna crush the Cubs!!

So what does anyone think Adam well perform on Xfactor Results show this Sunday? I think the most likelist options are GT. It is Halloween, it is his biggest hit song in OZ with WWFM. Went Double Platnum, nearly went #1 on the ARIA Charts. Went #1 on Itunes. So that looks possible. Either that or a new song. I don't think it matters the Demo in who's watching, he is performing on PrimeTime in OZ, thats a good thing.

Adam Lambert Pics @adamlambert_pic 1h1 hour ago Jason announcing that @adamlambert will perform on #xfactorau next week! Jason called Adam, Megastar. . In Australia, Guy's record's bigger than Adam. (I looked up Guy Sebastian, so far his sales combined (Album and single), over 3.8 million in Australia). While Adam's World Wide Superstars with 8million sales (pretty sure this is also combination of album and singles). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_SebastianJoy of joys ... Teen heart throb Shawn Mendes and Adam performing on the same night. They performed together in a radio bash before and I predicted performing last would not be great and was poo poohed by many Atopers. Sadly I was right. At least no one leaves this audience, and those at home are all demographic ranges. Wish Adam was ready with an A4 song. At least GT is reasonably fresh. Shawn has a new album and single. Guy has a new sing to flog. Lucky guys! Perhaps Iggy may be in the same position as Adam.

Thanks Q3. That was helpful. So it looks like Nick has a lot of label support. His album opened with 5K. His first two singles did not do that well. This third one in 1400 on Itunes and 210,000k on Spotify but they clearly believe in him to push this hard for radio play with those numbers. Good for him to have that level of support and belief in his ability to break thru. Can't wait for Adam to release something new from an album. Interesting to stumble on this conversation about Nick. I hadn't thought about him in a long time. Nice to see he's doing ok. Every year that goes by brings us a new world of technology that affects how music is marketed and sold. Certainly there's been a huge change since Adam's time on Idol. Labels have to decide carefully who they'll support. One thing about Nick, he is pretty mainstream (not a criticism, just a fact.) Adam is definitely not as mainstream. I'm glad to see Adam branching out into other things whenever he can. I hope that selling albums and singles will not be his only way to make a living. He's got the best voice on the planet and I hope his primary job is always to sing, but I sure hope he will diversity whenever he can. I think he's well aware that the life of a pop star isn't everlasting. But a career in show business and media, doing many things, can last a lifetime. He's sure got the personality for it.

This single is pretty mch Nick's last chance. It is a make or break! I lke him. Hope this song does it for him.

Wow...I watched Iggy's contestants results and I felt it was really awkward. I think she really wanted her Boy Band to win and I don't think she even hugged or said anything to the girl group. Whoa.

Nick is not doing that well. He has a track that is getting some airplay -- but not nearly to the level of support Adam has gotten in from radio in the past. Nick's debut album set the record for the lowest sales by an Idol winner ever -- selling 5,000 TEAs in the presale and first week in the US and "peaking" at #121 on the Billboard album chart. He does not have a hit single yet. His second single from his album, "All On You," is getting some radio airplay -- but is not selling very much. I hope that the radio exposure kicks in and it starts to sell. *** girldrummer ITA -- I hope that Adam gets the opportunity to explore all the avenues his talent takes him to -- but I want him to keep singing. He is (and probably will always be) my favorite singer.
